Amazing Family Stay

My husband,toddler, and my parents all stayed a long weekend here while visiting for my sister's wedding. There was plenty of space for all of us. There was also a pak n play for our son which was very convenient. There was plenty of coffee which I always find as a plus. The home was very clean and welcoming. We also loved all of the decor and some of the old books in the home. We were able to cook meals and enjoy time as a family. It's a great place to stay if you are traveling with a big group. I also had some questions for the owner and he responded quickly. Definitely a highly rated stay!

Nurse Practitioners Road trip

We needed a nice halfway resting point on the way to our conference. This house is cute, safe, and very accommodating for 4 females. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice house

Overall, we were very pleased with the house. It was very clean and well stocked. We especially appreciated the bottled water and we were pleasantly surprised to find a pack-n-play which came in very handy for our 2yo grandson. We did have to make a few modifications to accommodate my 91yo mother who uses a walker. The bathroom was a challenge for her. We also had to put up some of the breakable freestanding decor to get out of reach of the 2yo. This property was not advertised as handicap/toddler friendly so we cannot fault the owner. The bed in the master bedroom was extremely comfortable! It was like sleeping on a cloud. 😊 The location was great as it was close to stores and restaurants. It was perfect for us as it was close to family. Overall, we had a great weekend. Thank you! few modifications

Quick overnight trip with family

Super cute and clean house. Loved the decor. It truly has everything you needed. The only negatives were the AC must have been turned up higher before we arrived. The house felt warm and we quickly turned it down to 70. It took most of the night for the house to cool to 70. All in all I would still recommend the place

Great home in the heart of Rockwall

Having just moved to Rockwall this was a perfect place to stage - only wish it had been available for us a few more nights! Very clean, well furnished, and comfortable bed. Great fenced in back yard made it easy for the dogs.

In town to visit family

The property location was perfect. Close to everywhere we needed to be, as we were in town for our granddaughter's baptism. The home is laid out well, however, there were some items that were either not working correctly or were dirty (ceiling fan in back bedroom made an awful noise, and the oscillating fan in the master is very dirty).The back storm door was broken and would not close properly. Other than that, we were happy staying there and would stay there again. The hosts seem like they tried to make it as comfortable as possible. The VRBO ad did say there was a hot tub on the property, but there was not. I would also suggest you convert the keyed front entry to a keypad, as there was only one key made available for two families coming and going all weekend. Just a suggestion. Enjoyed our stay.

We scheduled 4 nights and things appeared to be fine until the 3rd morning. Some issues came up and they were not resolved. We ended up spending the last night in a hotel. We were compensated for hotel and cleaning fee.

Pickleball Fun

A group of friends over 60 attended the PPA Pickleball Tournament in Rockwell. I tournament was so fun and the home fit our needs. We played cards, laughed, ate and had the best time. Very clean and beds were perfect. Thank you.

Lovely Home!

We had a lovely stay at this home! It was honestly the nicest/put together home we’ve stayed at thus far. The gate in the back could be fixed as it was difficult to go in and out of, and the master bed was softer than we would’ve liked, those would be the only suggestions I would recommend changing/upgrading. The neighborhood was quiet and seemed safe. I would stay here again :-) Thank you for having us!

We have the privilege ro stay in this comfortable downtown Rockwall TX home. Be mindful that even though yes the outside is an older home but the inside is beautifully designed by none of the owner herself who does this for a living (very very good at what she does). This home is very inviting and most times so relaxing you forget its not your home and you have places to go. Love the fenced in backyard. This is the second home we have stayed in with the owners and just good folks (even if they are Texas Longhorn fans, at least their not A and M fans). Love this stay and will most definitely be booking in the future for family visits.

Perfect home for a group of friends!

The property clean and homey. The AC worked great. The master bedroom was roomy and well appointed. The bed was comfortable and huge. It was close to “downtown” Rockwall. We had a pickleball tournament at the Oasis so it was just a 10 minute drive for us. Recommend this place for any pickleballers out there!!
