Dieses wunderschöne 5 Hektar große Anwesen am Guadalupe River ist der perfekte Ort für einen Kurzurlaub am Fluss oder im Hill Country.

Dieses wunderschöne 5 Hektar große Anwesen am Guadalupe River ist der perfekte Ort für einen Kurzurlaub am Fluss oder im Hill Country. Die Hütte liegt zwischen Kerrville und Ingram, in der Nähe von Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants. Die Hütte bietet Platz für bis zu vier Personen und hat einen hervorragenden Zugang und Blick auf den Fluss Guadalupe. Zwischen der Insel und dem breiten, tiefen Flussabschnitt befindet sich ein natürlicher Wasserspross, der zum Schwimmen, Angeln oder Schwimmen einlädt. Diese Hütte hat einen gemeinsamen Zugang zum Fluss mit der River Run Lodge.

Was in town for a dog show so this rental was perfect! Dog friendly and the host was very accommodating. Would stay here again.

The cabin was very cute and had everything we needed. I knew there were a few other cabins but was not aware that this was also an RV park. Unfortunately I injured my shoulder just before our trip and we only stayed one night.

4th of July stay

We had a few days to kick back before we pick my daughter up, so we booked this wonderful cabin! I got fishing pokes and bait and went fishing with my son. We had a lot of fun!! We also felt very safe with the private gate access. Thanks so much!!!

Great overall

We stayed for 2 nights so the kids could experience glamorous camping, this spot doesn’t disappoint. I was impressed how stocked the cabin was, soap, paper towels, even firewood for campfire and charcoal for the grill. Enjoyed the deer while sitting on the porch having coffee. River is great depth for young kids and our dog had a blast.

Vacation

My husband and I had never been to this property before. I had gotten a call from Spencer the beginning of the week and the cabin we had rented that the AC had went out and he had asked if he could move me to a park model or he would refund me in full. I told him I was fine with the park model. So, I did speak with Spencer several times before our visit, and he was amazing and so accommodating. We have stayed at alot of cabins all over. This was a beautiful property and the park model we stayed in was very nice and clean which those are the most important things. We had a great time and will go back. Side note the property has a ton of deer that just hang out in front of the cabins.

Great getaway

The place was exactly as advertised. Cabin was small but had plenty of room for my husband and me to be comfortable and even cook an anniversary steak dinner! Dave was great at communicating and having everything ready for us. His little dog even acted as the welcoming committee (which we enjoyed having dogs ourselves). There are other cabins so we would consider bring our kids with us next time and staying in one of those.

Great honeymoon getaway

Our only suggestion is to add mini blinds to the windows. The property is clean and quite beautiful. We enjoyed watching the deer in the morning and evening.

Our new get away!

River Run, Kerrville, TX. Early spring and the trees were still bare of leaves. This little private getaway was very peaceful and a beautiful setting. The best of both worlds; secluded in the woods with a creek and not far from the small town Kerrville and all it has to offer. Perfect location! We rented "The Lodge" that can accommodate 4. It was just my husband and I with our 2 GD's. We had brought the dogs bedding, but was cheerfully greeted by on grounds management, David and his little pup and we were quickly offered a cover for the futon for our at-home couch potato pooches. Of course, we excepted and it made it easier for our stay without feeling the need for "NO to the couch" training! Very dog friendly! The accommodations were perfect for the 2 of us to get by for the couple of days we were there. Very clean. The A/C was cold and hot water was hot! Every cooking utensil you needed to fix meals on site, if needed. Ice trays and a full ice caddy were waiting. Although, we brought our own coffee, there was some in the cupboard with the filters and a canister full of sugar and basics like salt and pepper too. However, there was no place for us to transfer our clothing. The only closet was full of extra sheets and supplies leaving room to hang a few things, but that was all. There was two 4-hook spots on either side of the room we used for jackets and leashes. We placed our luggage on the floor and lived out of that. A Captains bed with drawers underneath would be perfect for this room. And PLEASE a new bed on a sturdier frame...a Cptns bed would also solve that! Lol Also, turn the bed between the windows to face the t.v. and there would still be room to unfold the futon. I hope mgmnt will give it a try. We're nappers and black out curtains would make it cozier in the day and keep headlights out at night. Bathroom was clean, but only 1 towel bar may hold a hand towel low, over the toilet and only ONE hook next to the shower. Not set to accommodate more than 2! I would suggest 4 hooks to hold towels side by side by the shower and one small hook or hand towel bar on the door side wall over sink. Very little space around the sink to place anything. It was quite the juggle for the 2 of us. Would be nice to have small shelves or a cabinet on the wall for guest storage or exchange the under sink storage for the guests and put the extra towels in the wall storage. Would greatly help!! All said, we found our pet friendly get away. WE'LL be back!!

A beautiful place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Lovely cabin and very clean. Wonderful hosts. Had everything we needed. It was a home away from home feeling. We would love to come back on our next wedding anniversary if not sooner. Weekend getaway

We were lucky to find this gem on the River! The Mgmt and staff on property were lovely and accommodating. Very peaceful. Would only recommend added privacy to curtains (ie. Darkening) or blinds. The neighboring site shares grill and table out front, so you can only really change in bathroom.
