Nach der Ankunft in unserem charmanten Haus müssen Sie nicht mehr fahren. Das Kottage befindet sich in günstiger Lage im Dorf Ludlow, nur wenige Gehminuten von Restaurants, Pubs, Frühstückscafés und dem wunderschönen OKEMO-Berg entfernt.
Die Lage bietet auch eine ruhige Umgebung neben einem Gebirgsbach mit einer Veranda, um Sonnenuntergänge zu beobachten. Im Sommer gibt es mehrere Seen und Wanderwege in der Nähe, Radfahren und verschiedene Aktivitäten auf dem Okemo-Berg und dem Golfplatz.
Wenn Sie in der Skisaison zu Besuch sind, sind Sie nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Eck-Shuttlebus zu einem der führenden Skiberge in Vermont entfernt
Die Unterkünfte verfügen über ein Kingsize-Bett und ein Queensize-Bett im Erdgeschoss. Es gibt 3 obere Schlafzimmer plus Höhle, die eine zusätzliche Königin, ein volles und 5 Doppelbetten einschließen.
Da dies unser Zuhause sowie eine Vermietung ist, sind alle Notwendigkeiten für den Komfort enthalten. Eine gut ausgestattete Küche, Badezimmer mit den notwendigen Toilettenartikeln sowie Handtücher und Bettwäsche, einschließlich warmer, gemütlicher Bettdecken für unsere Wintergäste.
Ein Platz für Skier, Fahrräder, Kajaks und eine Garage für 2 Autos runden die Ausstattung ab.
OKEMO MTN. befindet sich im Dorf Ludlow, das ca. 30 Minuten zum Skigebiet Killington und 40 Minuten entfernt ist. nach Woodstock, VT. mit dem Auto .
Der Flughafen Albany befindet sich im Südwesten, ca. 115 km.
Amtrak fährt auch zum nahe gelegenen Windsor VT. Auf der Vermonter Linie 24 Meilen von LUDLOW.

Fantastic Ludlow home

We (6 people) had the pleasure of staying here for our ski trip to Okemo this year. The home is beautiful, convenient to skiing and restaurants, and the kitchen makes it so easy to cook and entertain. Six bedrooms and 2 full baths made it even more relaxing. Will definitely be booking again when we come to Okemo!! The owner is also very responsive to any questions.

Oma K's was fantastic!

We stayed at Oma K's Kottage for 10 days from September 28th to October 8th! The home was perfect for our needs, with 6 bedrooms and 2 baths! The kitchen is updated with nice appliances and granite and has all you will need, including a huge Crock Pot! We were in Ludlow to begin building our own home and Oma's Kottage allowed our friends (who were there helping us build) their own bedrooms, a lovely dining room to eat amazing meals cooked in that beautiful kitchen and ample space to sit and chat after dinner. The living room also provided nice space with 3 couches for relaxing! Thank you for sharing your home and we will definitely be back again!!

Great ski getaway

We had a great time staying at this property. First and foremost, Astrid is very easy to work with. She is very accommodating, considerate, and friendly. We rent in VT every year and she has been the best property owner to communicate and work with by far. The Kottage is very cozy and the online pictures do not do the space justice. The Kottage has plenty of space to accommodate a large family. The kitchen is beautiful and well equipped. Living room and dining room have seating for all. The place is so close ( 5 min drive or less) to Okemo base village, shopping, and restaurants. I highly recommend this property!!

Fantastic place to stay!!

We visited the Okemo area for a road race, the 100 on 100. The race started in Stowe, and ended at Okemo, and after 13 hours of running, our 6-person team wanted a place to stay as a team. We found this home and it was perfect! Only three miles from our race finish. We had plenty of space to spread out, and each of our team had their own room. The house was fully guest ready, towels and toiletries readily available. The character of this house is beautiful! The wood floors and original built-ins were not lost on us. My only regret is we couldn’t stay longer! Would recommend this home to everyone!

Great Time Near Okemo

We had a great time staying at the property. Inside the property is very nicely set up with lots of bedrooms and space. It has a bit of a “cabin feel” but has been finished in a very pleasant manner. It is up a side road on the edge of the main town of Ludlow (walking distance). A 3 or 4 minute drive to Okemo. We had a great time. Wonderful.

As advertised

The house was extremely clean and comfortable. It was actually better than advertised because it has two bathrooms and it is listed as only having one. It's on a quiet street but only a two minute walk to the charming center of town. Astrid was very accommodating when we asked to alter both check-in and check-out times.

Charming cottage

Great location, it’s near downtown and but up a side street off the main road. Ludlow is a charming town and Okemo’s parking lot is 5 minutes away. The place a charming cottage with a modern kitchen and a beautiful table in the dining room. The living room is cozy and flooded with sunlight on winter mornings. The driveway is right outside the kitchen door, a huge plus for the guy designated with unloading the car Friday night. Though the house has been updated and is clearly well cared for, it is an old house and has probably seen several expansions over the years. With its charm comes several quirks, one of them being both bathrooms are on the first floor. There are 2 bedrooms there and another 4 bedrooms upstairs. Nobody sleeping upstairs seemed to mind.

Spacious Home in a Great Location

We were in Ludlow to attend a family reunion. This home has plenty of space, within walking distance of all of the businesses in downtown Ludlow, and a very well equipped and usable kitchen. The WiFi was fast and the TV allowed us to watch the baseball playoffs when the timing allowed.

Great Place to Rent!

I had a lovely time at this property in Ludlow! A few friends and I rented the house for a couple of days so we could participate in a race on Killington mountain (about 30 min from the house). The house had plenty of beds, was very clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Although we didn't get a chance to take advantage of it, the house was within walking distance to many bars and restaurants. And it was about a 1.5 mile drive to the grocery store. I would definitely stay here again!

Great house, excellent location, and very welcoming host!

We stayed at Oma's Kottage for a ski weekend with six adults and three kids. The house was perfect for all of us. The house was clean and very comfortable. The renovated kitchen was very nice. The beds were actually some of the most comfortable we come across in a rental. From the house it's an easy walk to restaurants and it's only a five minute drive to Okemo. The owner was very responsive to emails, before, during, and after our stay. The kids also really enjoyed playing in the yard. We will definitely rent again when we come back to Ludlow.

MY family and friends have been coming to Ludlow/ Okemo Mtn since 1980, we rented in all seasons and decided to have a place of our own . All of us live in many locations Baltimore, Long Island, Royal Oak Michigan, Carver Ma. Upstate NY - and we wanted a gathering spot and Ludlow made us all happy .
Making memories , having adventures, and enjoying being together is important to all of us. The “Kottage “ was big enough for large groups and cozy enough for 2- we refer to it as the “BIG” little house .
