Beautiful Spot

We had a really great time at this cottage. It really did have everything we needed. We forgot our pillows though! So we went into Wiarton and were able to get some from the local dollar store across from the LCBO. Kitchen was spacious and the owner provided many fans, we brought some thinking it would be hot without Air Conditioning but it was quite cool, lots of windows can be opened. Only complaint (which really isnt one) is the bunk beds are very squeeky whenever my boys tossed around, they ended up sleeping on the couches in the 2nd livingroom area and were very comfortable. The one bedroom with the bathroom attached was not comfortable at all. My husband and I took turns sleeping on the larger couch as it was just too tight and very wiggly. But waking up to the sunrise on the lake and the privacy was worth the bit of sore backs in the morning! OH! And they had Mrs.Pacman arcade game which my kids LOVED! Internet was quick and easy, grocery store was 15 minutes away. We will definitely book next year and remember our own pillows! :)

perfect nostalgic visit

Very well equipped, well prepared. Very nice cottage, lots of room. Location was great, waterfront was excellent. Exploring the Peninsula was fun for all. Seeing my old friends and family from my childhood on Balmy Beach was a perfect gift for my 8oth birthday. Couln't have been better.
