Offering elegant and tastefully furnished accommodation for up to nine guests, this fresh and stylish townhouse has been beautifully decorated to make an ideal holiday home in the thriving town of Brechin. Situated by the town square, the property is ideal for walkers, nature spotters, beach lovers and golfers, with a wide range of landmarks and attractions in the surrounding area. Angus is home to many of Scotland’s finest golf courses, with Kirriemuir, Arbroath, and Carnoustie all within 20 miles. The coast is within easy reach, with highlights including Lunan Bay, Montrose Beach, and St Cyrus Beach all within 12 miles. From Brechin you can take a trip by steam train on the Caledonian Railway. Other local attractions include Langley Park Gardens, Montrose Air Station Museum, The Caterthuns, and The House of Dun and Angus Folk Museum (all within 8 miles).
This traditional townhouse features an inviting hallway leading along to two chic and beautifully furnished lounges, each with a welcoming wood burner and sumptuous seating: the first lounge also has a Smart TV and large bay window, while the second has a baby grand piano. The hall leads onto a handsome formal dining room and then to a fully equipped, thoughtfully organised kitchen with an additional country-style breakfast table. The ground floor also has a utility room and a stylishly tiled main bathroom with a central free-standing bath and separate shower. Going upstairs, there’s an invigorating shower room and five fresh and airy bedrooms: you will have a choice of two bright and spacious king-size bedrooms, 2 doubles and a charming single room. Heading up to the top floor, there’s a children’s playroom which makes a fantastic den for younger guests and features a TV and games console.
Stepping outside, there’s a small, enclosed garden with a bistro dining set, providing a charming spot for a morning coffee and shared al fresco meals. While there is no private parking, guests can benefit from on-street parking (subject to availability).
