Spend time exploring the town’s magnificent, sandy beaches, swim in the iconic tidal pool, get the heart pumping on a clifftop hike, or majestically drift along the canal in a rowing boat. The town is also popular with water sports enthusiasts, and you’ll find many companies offering lessons and equipment hire. After an action-packed day, refuel in a friendly pub or pick up some delicious fish and chips for your supper. Further afield, soak up the history at Tintagel Castle (21 miles), or explore the stunning National Trust landscape surrounding Boscastle (16 miles). You’ll also be within easy reach of the picture-postcard village of Clovelly (15 miles), which clings to the dramatic North Devon cliffs.
The rural retreat occupies a quiet space within the holiday park. Inside, the bright and inviting property is decorated in a contemporary style and features a charming array of homely touches. At the heart of the home is a spacious lounge/kitchen, where you can prepare delicious feasts for the group and gather on the comfortable sofas for movie nights in front of the Smart TV. There’s also a sleek breakfast bar in this room for perching with a morning coffee as you plan the day’s activities. The separate dining room is the perfect place for hosting dinner parties and family celebrations with two large, farmhouse-style dining tables to seat everyone. The property has three spacious bedrooms, each with a king-size bed and a set of bunk beds. Three large shower rooms complete the accommodation.
Outside, the enclosed patio garden has a bench where you can sit with a glass of wine, as well as a private hot tub to sink into at the end of a busy day. Guests are also welcome to explore the 7-acre holiday park, where you’ll find a children’s play area and walking trails along the picturesque river. The property has private parking for up to three cars.
