As with many older buildings, it has its quirks, which only enhance its charm and make it a memorable place to stay. The inviting lounge is the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploration. The newly renovated bathroom offers a refreshing rain shower with an additional handheld option, ensuring a spa-like experience. Please note that there is a separate toilet, characteristic of the apartment’s age, which does not have a hand basin within it.

Parking closest to the apartment is paid on-street, chargeable between 9 am and 6 pm daily. For more extended parking options, we recommend the nearby Corran Halls car park or one of the other convenient paid car parks around town.

The 'Top End' of town is a peaceful and quiet but still only a short walk away from the waterfront and town centre with many places to eat, drink and shop. The local swimming pool is also just a 2 minute walk away from The Nest.

The best way to explore the township is on foot as the roads can get a bit congested in the summer months. If you are wanting to go further afield, the train, bus and ferry terminals are a 5 minute walk from the apartment.
While there is parking behind the building, this is not for guests to use. Parking needs to be on the street at all times
