La Tuiliere is a beautiful stone built seventeenth century house on the banks of the Dordogne River.
This is a truly magical spot with spectacular views over the river and extensive grounds of five acres, bordered at the rear by the Lalinde canal.
The space
Within the grounds is a large heated swimming pool and a stream running the whole length of the garden into the river. There is direct access to the canal with a cycle path on the opposite side where you can cycle for miles in each direction.
The master bedroom has a stunning terrace with views of the river complete with wine fridge. There are two living rooms; a large lounge with beautiful fireplace and a further TV room with sofa bed. The kitchen diner also has a smaller prep kitchen and a seperate utility room.
The bastide town of Lalinde with its lovely square, shops, cafes and restaurants is a four minute drive or hire a bike and cycle along the canal path all the way into town. The location is also a fisherman's paradise.
La Tuiliere has the feel of an exclusive country retreat with superb quality furniture and fittings, yet within close reach of all amenities.
Bergerac Airport is twenty-five minutes away.
Our changeover day is Friday.
