Waterside Lodge is a detached bijou residence located besides the Salcombe estuary, at Batson Creek. The Lodge has recently been completely rebuilt and refurbished to provide a unique experience. There is a southerly facing castellated garden which is great for sun bathing and relaxing. This is predominantly lawn, with some mature shrubs, borders and trees, that stops at the very edge of the creek. There is private parking for one vehicle and a public slipway by the entrance to the property.
The Lodge has been designed to be a self-contained unit catering for 2 guests. The property has a separate en-suite shower room with wash basin and WC. The rest of the property is of open-plan, incorporating a small bespoke kitchen, dining/living area, plus flexible sleeping arrangements (whereby the bed can be stored away for extra floor space). There are large windows and folding glazed oak doors over looking the estuary, leading onto the garden patio area.
The patio over looks the estuary. Being south facing, this receives sun for most of the day, making it a great space for relaxing, eating outside etc. The view is down the creek towards Salcombe and to open countryside.
