The book town of Sedbergh lies on the Yorkshire and Cumbrian border, perfectly based for exploring the Lake District and Yorkshire National Parks. Sheltered by the nearby Howgills, some of Wainwrights favourite walks, and within a short drive of the eastern Lake District fells and the Pennines the area is perfect for fell walkers and with Lake Windermere within 20 miles, fishing and 3 golf courses close by the sports enthusiast is well catered for. The town has historic houses reminiscing of the bygone woollen and knitting trades of the 13th Century market town and with a number of book shops, independent shops, cafes and inns gives plenty to explore away from the fells. The Carlisle to Settle railway line is close by, as is England's highest cascade waterfall, Cautley Spout and Fairfield Mill a working arts and crafts centre with gallery and café and the cobbled village of Dent are close by attractions.

The cottage is furnished and equipped within the keeping of the style of the cottage with a wood burning stove and electric AGA.

The gas centrally heated cottage comprises: Lounge with wood burning stove, comfy seating around the Smart TV with Netflix. The dining kitchen has an electric AGA, fridge, Belfast sink, washer/dryer and dining table.
First floor: Double bedroom and bathroom with bath, shower cubicle, hand basin and WC.
