After visiting the Riviera Maya for over 25 years, we decided to make Playacar our home! We were looking for a place large enough to accommodate our family and friends during our frequent visits as well as a location that was close to the Beach, Golf and 5th Avenue! Avid divers, we can also take a morning ferry to Cozumel and be back on our beach by mid afternoon! After buying Casa Tres Palapas, we immediately updated the home with all new furniture and furnishings, new paint, new appliances, new TV's and new electrical systems. We also made sure the AC Units were updated and working properly. In other words, we did not want any problems during our precious time for us or our guests! We have a full time Property Manager that is available to check our guests in and out, as well as be counted on for any other needs while our guests are in residence. Owning property in Playacar should not mean that it can't feel like you are on vacation. That is why we provisioned Casa Tres Palapas to make us and our guests feel as though we were in the finest suite in the finest resorts in the Caribbean! We hope you will enjoy our home as much as we do!

We started our love affair with Mexico at the eastern resort cities of Puerto Vallarta, Cabo San Lucas, and Ixtapa. As much as we love those areas, it was the perfect turquoise waters of Cancun that kept bringing us back! We would visit several times a year with our children. As they grew older and we started traveling by ourselves, we discovered the Riviera Maya. The low rise resorts and glorious private beaches were in sharp contrast to the bustle of Cancun. Then we discovered 5th Ave in Playa del Carmen. A cobblestone pedestrian walkway with shoppes ranging from trinket stores, to restaurants and bars of every type and price to Gucci, Rolex and Fendi. Just sit outside at a street side table, sipping your favorite cocktail and you will hear 15 different languages in 3 minutes as the crowd passes you by. At the southern end of 5th Ave is the Ferry Pier offering departures to Cozumel on the hour. Just south of the pier is the entrance to Playacar. A guard gated, master planned golf community offering condos, villas, private homes and World Class Resorts. This is where we found Casa Tres Palapas. A two-story Villa with a large palapa carport out front. Another palapa covers the patio which is literally steps from the sparkling pool. A third palapa shades the private patio just outside the downstairs master bedroom. Space, luxury and the perfect location was why we chose Casa Tres Palapas as our home.

Knowing that you really don't know how many friends and family you truly have until you have a home in Mexico, we needed a place that would allow us to enjoy Mexican Life without feeling cramped. At over 3,600 sq ft, Casa Tres Palapas offers a downstairs Master with King sized bed, and upstairs Master with King sized bed and a 3rd Bedroom with 2 full Beds. All 3 suites have a Private Bathroom in addition to a Powder Bath on the First Floor. Each Bedroom has a smart TV with satellite in addition to a large smart TV in the Living Room. Located behind yet another guard gate in the community of Pakal, we are steps from a convenience store, 3 restaurants a laundry and an ice cream parlor. There is no need for a car as taxis frequent the neighborhood, and you are just a scenic 15 minute walk to Playacar Beach, 5th Ave or the Ferry Terminal. Playacar is a golf community and you will notice the stunning Hard Rock Golf Course that winds throughout Playacar. Our Guests enjoy access to The Reef Club which provides complimentary beach chairs at the resort (or guests can pay approx $52usd for a day pass that includes unlimited food and drink) in addition to deep discounts on golf and certain restaurants. Our property manager can arrange housekeeping based on your schedule.
