Welcome to my home!

My home is the perfect getaway from the hustle of bustling Porto City and ideal for families looking for somewhere laidback with the convenience of being close to the city.

It is composed of a homely living space with a large sofa and TV for you to relax and unwind. The dining area can comfortably fit six, while the kitchen can handle light cooking. You'll find small conveniences like a dishwasher and microwave oven, while a coffee machine is available for you to enjoy. The private patio out back offers a fantastic view of Porto with stunning views of Ponte Luís and Mosteiro da Serra do Pilar.

There are two bedrooms: one fitted with a queen bed and a second room with two single beds. All are lined in hotel-quality linens for a good night's rest. The bathroom has everything to help refresh yourself, with a shower and toiletries provided. Fresh towels are also given as well.

Cleaning and sanitisation will be done before your anticipated arrival.

A hub of the port wine industry, Vila Nova de Gaia is peppered with cellars offering tours and tastings. It's also known for sandy beaches like Praia da Madalena and the scenic riverside road Cais de Gaia, with its cafe terraces and expansive views across the Douro. Small restaurants serve grilled fish and seafood in the old fishing village of Afurada, where picturesque tiled houses line narrow streets.

Vila Nova de Gaia is located just across the Douro River from Porto, making it easy to travel between the two. The nearest airport to Vila Nova de Gaia and Porto is Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport, about 16 kilometres north of Porto city centre. Several transportation options from the airport to Vila Nova de Gaia or Porto include metro, bus, taxi, or private transfer. Once in Vila Nova de Gaia, the primary way to get around is by foot or public transportation, with buses and trains readily available. The Porto metro system also connects Vila Nova de Gaia to various parts of Porto, making it a convenient way to travel between the cities.

This property is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before being able to check into the flat. Check-in can be done from 2 PM, pending availability and confirmation.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at minimum.

Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€.

For the first days, we provide the basic amenities: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag.

Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay).
Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee.
Extra Clothing: 30€ (Towels and sheets for 2pax, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).
