Brunswick South is the perfect base to explore. You name it, this place has it. For city slickers, central Brighton is mere moments away, boasting a buzzing retail centre, food to suit every possible taste, and more culture and nightlife than you could shake a sizeable stick of rock at. But for those looking for a quieter stay, the seafront really couldn’t be much closer, and both Hove Lawns and St Ann’s Well really are on the doorstep, offering a range of sports including boules, tennis and table tennis, as well as a great children’s play area.
Just around the corner, quirky little specialist shops and independent retailers span the length of Western Road, an area that also offers cafés, bars, restaurants and nightlife. Do ask for local recommendations, as we know all the best places to go.
To hop on a train and explore more of the area, Hove train station is a 15-minute walk, and it’s 20-minutes to get to Brighton train station on foot. But if this all seems a little too much, there is both a bus stop and a taxi rank at the end of the road.
