Welcome to our modern 1-bedroom apartment! Our home-from-home is newly refurbished and perfect for couples, friends, or solo travelers. Our Empire 39 apartments are not far away from all the Scarborough attractions including the castle, the sealife center, Alpamare Water Park, The Open-Air Theatre with many top music acts through the summer. Just up the road is the Stephen Joseph theatre running regular shows, and the SPA.
There is paid street parking outside the property. We can provide you with a parking permit for £6 per day if you wish to park your car near your apartment.

There are a few steps up to the front door of the building. Then the apartment is on the ground floor and is all on one level.

This is a pet friendly apartment. £25 per pet, per stay.

Children up to and including 2 years old stay for free when using an available cot. Please bring your own sheet.

A digital guest guidebook will be sent to guests prior to their stay. It includes check in/out details, driving directions, a detailed apartment manual, restaurants recommendations, and much more!

Empire No 39 is in the heart of Scarborough’s busy town centre, just a few meters from the main street with all its bars, cafes, and restaurants. The south bay beach is just a 10 min walk away with all the seaside attractions.
The north bay beach, including the open-air theatre and Peasholm Park, are a 25-minute walk.
The train station is a 5 minute walk away.
There are many supermarkets and shops within walking distance.

The kitchen/diner is fully equipped with everything you could need, an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, and full-size fridge and freezer. The spacious, open-plan living room has a single sofa bed that simply folds out and comfortably sleeps 1 person.

The living room also has a smart TV and there is a bay window with a dining table and seating to enjoy breakfast or dinner. The table also makes a comfortable workspace.

Empire 39 has a spacious main bedroom with a king-size, high-quality orthopaedic bed and mattress.

The bathroom has a large rainfall shower, toilet, and sink.
Empire 39 is conveniently located just 5 minutes walk from the train station.
There are plenty of buses that will take you to Filey or Whitby.
