Concealed amongst the soothing Derwent Valley hillside, with lovely views from the rooftop terrace, this unique "castle" was built around 150 years ago. Enjoy a tipple of your choice snuggling up in the lounge by the log burning stove, or in warmer weather, enjoy a drink on the rooftop terrace.
If you can bear to tear yourself away, you might like to take a wander across the meadows to the Plough Inn in Two Dales village for a bite to eat or jump in the car and after just a few minutes drive, you could be visiting some of the Peak District's many other attractions. Take a ride on a steam train in Matlock, have a pudding in Bakewell or soak up history at the famous Chatsworth House. At the end of a long day exploring, there’s one thing to remember; your castle awaits!
