There is a double and a twin bedroom on the first floor, and a single with a TV and a bathroom on the second floor. Outside, there is a front patio with furniture, and two parking permits are provided for SLDC public car park and on-street parking available on a first-come, first-served basis. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rental price, however, logs for the woodburner are not included. Apologies, but this property doesn't permit smoking. For your local conveniences, there is a shop and pub within 0.1 mile. A memorable retreat to The Lakes awaits at Woolly End Cottage.

The parkland at Waterhead offers lovely views down the lake and a small beach, while a walk along Stock Ghyll through woodland leads to the enchanting Stock Ghyll Force waterfall. Along with the Lake and great walking, Ambleside is known for its annual rushbearing ceremony and the tiny 17th century “Bridge House”, now the National Trust Information Centre.
