Town: Cottingham is a lovely village in Yorkshire's East Riding, north of Kingston upon Hull and a few miles from Beverley, a pretty market town. Cottingham has a modest high street with a variety of shops, bars, restaurants, and cafés, with even more excellent eateries to be found in the surrounding villages. Cottingham is close to the charming seaside towns of Hornsea, Bridlington, and Filey, as well as the Yorkshire Wolds, and is about an hour's drive from York.
