Gut: Sauberkeit, Check-in, Kommunikation, Lage und Genauigkeit des Onlineauftritts
Fantastic location; Highest Outdoor Deck; Full of Art
Location: Kalsa, the Historical Center of Palermo... loved it. It is clean, gritty and lively, but quiet. Nearby Piazza Magione is where Falcone & Borsellino (look them up) grew up. Kalsa is great for dining and the Famila Supermercato. Nearby is the via Vittorio Emanuele where you take your evening stroll; no shouting or loud groups of drunks; it is really nice.
The 3 Terraces: The unit is reached by a lift for the first 2 floors, then you climb one set of stairs... not a bad climb. The unit is very fresh and beautifully remodeled; and full of original art and a huge wall of books. Everything in the unit ‘fits,’ and is incredibly comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with all large and small appliances. There really are 3 porches; the LR porch overlooks the street; the kitchen porch is ideal for breakfast and the top porch overlooks everything. In all, the unit feels more like a home than a rental.
Recommended chgs: 1) Plants on all decks should be removed, thinned or better maintained; get rid of the bush with briars climbing the stairs to the top deck... it will catch your legs every time. 2) The electricity breaker, on the ground floor, flipped-off every night, and during one day, so the AC stopped while asleep. Each morning I trekked to the ground floor to flip the switch for all lights and the AC. This was annoying since The 3 Terraces was the only unit whose breaker flipped.
Otherwise, The 3 Terraces is a unique place to live like a local in Palermo.
