The Dilly is a fabulous retro luxury shepherd's hut tucked away down a quiet country lane on the outskirts of Rhosneigr. It's the perfect place for a unique and relaxing getaway for two.

The accommodation is situated on the owner's land tucked away in a corner of the garden ensuring complete privacy and boasting stunning views across the rolling countryside.

Two steps lead up and through the double French doors into a cosy open-plan space with an ultra-comfortable double bed topped with a king duvet to snuggle up under together.

The compact but well-equipped kitchenette has everything you need to prepare breakfast and simple meals and there is a collapsible table to maximise space.

A sliding door at the end of the hut reveals a cleverly concealed modern bathroom with a walk-in shower, washbasin, toilet and a heated towel rail.

The Dilly has been beautifully refurbished and decorated in a country chic style and there is no shortage of modern comforts in this little retreat, such as underfloor heating and a log-burner for autumn-winter stays.

During the summer, fling open the French doors to the patio and let the fresh air and sunlight infuse the interior!

The patio is furnished with a table and chairs where you can crack open your welcome bottle of champers and watch the sunset over the surrounding fields. And then prepare dinner for two to enjoy under the famous dark Anglesey starry night sky.

A fire pit is on hand to warm up even the coolest of evenings or to roast marshmallows on, bringing back childhood memories of campfire fun!

The Dilly has a secret surprise hidden around the back of the hut… A 'Hikki' Swedish wood-fired hot tub and an outdoor shower which you can wash off your sandy feet after a day at the beach.

For the ultimate hot/cold experience switch between the hot tub and shower! Both are screened by some lovely Hazel fencing giving you complete privacy.

Away from the accommodation, you have a beautiful garden to explore and during your stay, you can make friends with the neighbouring horses and chickens.

This quiet rural escape is perfect for romantic weekends and as a base to explore Anglesey.

A bicycle built for two

Not only is The Dilly built just for two, but there is also a tandem bike on-site which you are welcome to use during your stay.

Expect lots of fun and laughter at the beginning, while you attempt to get on and pedal off. However, once you get the hang of it you can mosey along the flat peaceful country lanes on this bicycle built for two. You might even make it into Rhosneigr for ice cream!



The Nitty Gritty

The management team live on the Island and will ensure that everything is as it should be ahead of your arrival. And we are always on call throughout your stay for anything you need.
A welcome pack will be ready for you on arrival which includes a bottle of fizz, milk, teabags, coffee, washing up liquid, hand soap, and toilet rolls. All properties have a Welcome Folder to help familiarise guests with the property, the local area and the island All of our properties comply with all Fire Safety Regulations

All about Rhosneigr

Winner of the Green Coast seaside award, Rhosneigr is a lovely village situated on the beautiful west coast of Anglesey. It's a fantastic location no matter the weather or season.

The village has two brilliant golden sand beaches, which are great for water sports, particularly wind and kite surfing. In fact, Rhosneigr has become a windsurfing and kite surfing mecca attracting enthusiasts from all over Britain.

Around the island, there are lots of other pretty coves and bays where you can enjoy open swimming and safe child-friendly bathing, beach strolls, rock pool exploring and sandcastle competitions!

Cycling is another great way to explore the island with a 120-mile perimeter to explore and plenty of rural trails so that you can explore the scenic countryside. The countryside stretches for miles inland with magnificent views of the Snowdonia Mountains and Llyn Peninsula.

Rhosneigr village itself has a great selection of restaurants and friendly bars, it even has a chip shop if you fancy fish and chips on a Friday. And so that you don't have to eat out every day during your holiday, the local general stores provide everything you need to cook and dine at home.

Rhosneigr also has a surf shop (also offering lessons), gift shop, and other shops that you would expect to find on the coast.

Fancy a round of golf? Anglesey Golf Club is just five minutes drive from Rhosneigr village!

Located 15 minutes from the A55, Holyhead 10 miles, Bangor 22 miles and the base of Snowdon is only 40 minutes away (with the wind behind you!).

Anglesey is a great destination for any holiday with so much to offer: beautiful landscapes, gorgeous coastal walks, water sports and family activities galore, as well as cultural and monumental attractions for those looking to learn more about the history of the region.
