As you enter through the blue wooden gates from the narrow village lane you will notice the sweet fragrances that fill the air, a few steps up towards the main courtyard and shaded by the colourful bougainvillea, you will find the water feature and quaint curved stone steps leading up to the blue stable door entrance of your first floor accommodation known as - Le Balcon.
Upon entering the traditional Cyprus pine kitchen area has a fridge, induction hob, Nespresso coffee maker, toaster, microwave, crockery, cutlery, pots and glassware. The shower room is located off the kitchen and continuing through the traditional archway you will find a dining table, chairs, a sofa and a pine wardrobe.
Le Balcon features a four poster bed, ceiling fan, air conditioning and a log burner. Located off the bedroom area is a spacious balcony, table and chairs with spectacular panoramic views overlooking the village, the church, the patchwork rooftops to the coast beyond.


If you are looking for a hidden gem, a special and unique hideaway, somewhere to relax and unwind yet still have the village amenities on your doorstep then this may be what you have been searching for!

The Old Village School is located in the heart of the pretty hillside village of Peyia, only a 5 minute drive from Coral Bay, and close to the beautiful Akamas National Park and the Quaint Harbour of Agious Georgious. Paphos is 30 minutes drive by car or you can use the the local bus service. Latchi & Polis can be reached by a scenic 40 minute drive through the windy wine making areas. Enjoy a coffee stop at the cobbled pathed village of Kathikas, or maybe a wine tasting at Vasilikon winery!
If you want to explore further afield you can take a trip to Troodos and discover Mount Olympus taking in the beautiful traditional village of Omodos en-route maybe for a spot of lunch and browse the local crafts. Or perhaps after a morning of sightseeing a relax around the secluded pool area and a cooling dip to unwind before taking a stroll into the village for dinner in one of the many excellent local tavernas!

The accommodation offers the choice of seperate self contained Gite style apartments set amidst pretty courtyard and garden areas, your very own Mamma Mia Greek style, on the beautiful island of Cyprus.

The Gites / apartments have been lovingly restored and are an absolute delight, full of character, set amidst the courtyards and gardens awash with colours, fragrances and complimented by a secluded pool area, & outdoor barbecue shaded space for lunch and somewhere you can relax or you can immerse yourself into village life. Tavernas, Restaurants, Bars, Pharmacy, Supermarket, bakery, coffee shops & a bank are all located a short if a little hilly walk from your accommodation.

The Village Elementary School dates back to 1890 and has been beautifully restored with love and care. The attention to detail is evident to all those who visit. The old style charm endears itself to you and will make you want to return again & again.

The accommodation consists of 3 individual self contained apartments each sleeping 2 adults. They are all located in the grounds of The Old Village School house each one offering its own unique charm. The secluded swimming pool and BBQ areas are available to be enjoyed by guests staying in the apartments. Each apartment can be booked individually or if holidaying with friends and family you may decide to book all 3 apartments.

Located off the bedroom area is a spacious balcony, table and chairs with spectacular panoramic views overlooking the village, the church, the patchwork rooftops to the coast beyond, perfect for a glass of wine to welcome in the evening and watch as evening in the village begins.
Beyond the main courtyard through a pretty gateway there is an outdoor covered barbecue and additional dining area perfectly shaded for those balmy summer evenings. Continue onwards and then up a few steps you will enter the main garden and pool area. A secluded Oasis, tranquil and after a full day of sightseeing a welcome retreat.

A little more compact tucked away in the corner of the gardens you will find the second of our 'Gite' style accommodation, the 'Summer Cottage' fondly known as;

'Gite' D'ete - Sleeping 2
An endearing ground floor cottage style summer house, the perfect hideaway.
With its own entrance from the quaint narrow lane adjacent to the property the accommodation is situated beyond the pool area, nestled away in the beautiful gardens.
The kitchen area is equipped with a fridge, induction hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, Nespresso coffee maker, crockery, cookware, utensils and glassware. A small dining table and two chairs are located opposite the double bed. There is a beamed ceiling throughout, air conditioning and ceiling fan, a pine wardrobe and shower room compliment the style of the charming accommodation. Outside of 'Gite' D'ete is the sunny garden terrace area which has a table and two chairs with parasol over, perfect for enjoying breakfast or for an early evening glass of wine before heading out into the village to enjoy one of the many tavernas in walking distance.

A charming, compact self contained studio located in the courtyard under the colourful bougainvillea. Sleeping 2 adults offering a double bed, kitchen area, separate wet room with shower, washbasin & w.c. Outside a bistro table & chairs to eat, drink & relax.
