Welcome to Lee Shore! This beautiful, clean cottage, with linen and towel service, is located in the friendly cottage community of Dyers Bay. Known for its spectacular sunrises and close to all of Northern Bruce’s best attractions and world class hiking opportunities. Off in the distance you’ll see the wave-carved Niagara Escarpment towering over the turquoise waters of Georgian Bay, where you can enjoy hours of swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, fishing, boating or paddling in the crystal clear waters with magnificent views.
For a perfect fireside evening, guests can enjoy a fire inside or out in the private backyard adorned with strings of soft lighting and tall trees. A perfect location to hear the crackles of the fire, and sounds of local wildlife near by. Fires may also be enjoyed along the shores of Dyers Bay.
Up a wooden staircase, guest will find a large open loft bedroom with tall cathedral ceilings, guest closet and walk out romeo juliet style balcony with two muskoka chairs. A great place to unwind with views of Dyers Bay, hear the waves and enjoy your favourite beverage, with spectacular star gazing on clear nights.
The bathroom is located on the main floor adjacent to a bedroom with a queen bed and walk out to the beautiful backyard. Guests may have the unique experience of seeing a beautiful red fox stroll by and will wake to the singing of many species of birds that travel through Bruce's major northern migration route. A bird watcher’s paradise.
The 3rd bedroom features a twin bunk bed and dresser, and for our younger guests board games, puzzles, cards, dominos, a wii, children's books, and plenty of lego and kinex to keep kids entertained on rainy days.
We believe the kitchen is the heart of the home, so ours is fully equipped. Meals can be made in the double oven, stove, outdoor bbq, instant pot, slow cooker or Tfal actifry…. or for special occasions with our raclette grill sets and fondue.
As our water is treated with UV & particle filtration, it's safe for drinking and delicious.
Our kitchen has a wide variety of newly purchased in and outdoor dishes, high quality pots and pans, bowls, glass storage containers, casserole dishes, baking sheets, serving platters, chip & dip tray, cheese grater, magic bullet, measuring cups & spoons, salad spinner, wine aerator, soda streamer, juice pitcher & milk pitchers, cream & sugar container, tea infuser, ice cube trays, corn on the cob holders, meat thermometer, toaster, a large variety of utensils and knives, plenty of glasses, cups and mugs.
Lee Shore also has a Ninja Speciality Coffee maker with milk frother to help start your day with a fresh cup of brew, along with a kettle and teapot. Guests are welcome to sample our coffee and teas, but encouraged to bring from home as well.
Guests have various dining options. The back deck, with soft evening lighting, has a table for 6 under a gazebo near the outdoor fire pit and bbq. The large front lower deck is perfect for breakfast or lunch, where humming birds frequently visit. Inside guests can eat at a dining table for 4, with the option of a 2nd table and 2 folding chairs for families of 6.

Things to do in Dyers Bay….
Beach access is located directly across the street. There is no public parking near our cottage, so you will most likely have the beach to yourself! Hike the famous Bruce Trail located ½ km from the cottage or cycle the shoreline road to the Cabot Head Light House (open to cycle and foot traffic only) While there, you can hike or ride to Wingfield Basin for a quick swim or picnic with the perfect backdrop of the Niagara Bluffs and waters of Georgian Bay. Enjoy hours of fun with your family jumping and diving off the near by public dock, or launch your boat and venture out to explore the scenic views of the Bruce Peninsula shorelines.
For a winter getaway, we are blessed with large amounts of snow, and bare hiking trails. Snowshoeing (2 adult sets available) can be done right along the water, or cross country ski and snowmobile along the near by trails. Be sure to check out the Grotto during the winter for a whole new perspective!
Bringing Your Boat
For guests interested in bringing their boat or skidoos. The driveway has 2 large parking spots with room to park a boat and vehicle, with a 3rd additional parking spot on the side of the road. The government dock is free to launch off, but please read the Bruce municipality website for details and information.
