The award winning Prospectors' House is a unique accommodation in Northern Ontario with its thematic decor. The designer won the 2014 Canadian IDEA design award for her work with the Prospectors' House in the historic house category. Its rustic design and local art will add to your stay. The theme of the house was developed around the history of the Cobalt prospectors. Ideal for family gatherings, anniversaries, groups of friends, corporate groups, or workers. The house can accommodate up to 20 people (double occupancy, with surcharge).
- Main floor you will find the front entrance, rear entrance, kitchen, dining room, living room and a powder room.
- Basement: 1 large bedroom with queen size bed, 1 double sofa-bed, ensuite bathroom and walk-in closet. 3 other full bathrooms and a laundry room.
- 2nd floor: 4 bedrooms with queen size beds, 1 double pull-down bed located in common area, with access to a balcony, and a full bathroom
- Loft (top floor ): 1 double bed, 2 single beds. Children's playroom, dormitory and a workspace. Possible to set up 4 extra cots in the loft area
The large property offers several parking spaces, a large front porch, a rear terrace with a pergola, hot tub, barbecue.
