Mallards Nest is a stunning 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom cabin is nestled in the heart of the Smokies, in the Wears Valley area, just minutes away from the foothills' entryway. The cabin boasts breathtaking mountain views from its location, and it even has its own fishing pond in the backyard! Imagine waking up early, walking out your back door, and enjoying the fresh mountain air with a cup of coffee in one hand and a fishing pole in the other. This is mountain living at its finest.
The cabin features a spacious and comfortable interior, complete with all the amenities you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. There is one king bed and a twin over full bunk, making it perfect for families or small groups of friends. The cabin also features a pool table and a foosball table, providing endless hours of entertainment for everyone. After a long day of exploring the great outdoors, there's no better way to unwind than by soaking in the hot tub. Sit back, relax, and take in the stunning views of the water while you rejuvenate your body and mind. At night, gather around the firepit and enjoy some quality family time roasting marshmallows and engaging in small talk. This is the perfect way to end a day in the Smokies. Living Room:
Step inside this relaxing retreat and find breathtaking mountain views along with an inviting living area complete with comfortable seating, ceiling fan, large flat screen Roku tv and wood burning fireplace.
Kitchen/Dining Room:
You will find a fully equipped kitchen that offers everything you need to cook a delicious meal and enjoy at the dining room table that can seat 2 at the bar upstairs & 3 at the bar downstairs. Make yourself a cup of coffee using the provided Keurig or make a pot of coffee in the provided 12 cup coffee maker. You will find a toaster for a quick morning breakfast. This kitchen is complete with cookware, dishes to dine on and all silverware. Cleaning up is a breeze after any meal using the dishwasher. You will have plenty of space to enjoy a lovely meal.

Outdoor Spaces:
On the porch, you can rest and relax in either the outdoor seating or let your worries drift away in the 4 person hot tub, all while enjoying the gorgeous mountain views surrounding you. Grill out on the charcoal grill.
Other Amenities:
During your stay, you can also enjoy access to a community pool just a short drive away! The pool has a fantastic backdrop of the Smoky Mountains, and there is plenty of grass for kids to run around and play. There is also a nice covered area with picnic tables and a grill for barbecues. The community pool access is provided and managed through a third party company. We not responsible for maintenance or pool closures. The pool is typically open Memorial Day through Labor Day. Pool is located directly behind the property all you have to do upon arrival is give the attendant the Cabin Name.

Our area has so many fun and entertaining attractions for all ages. Start with adventure when you ride coasters at Dollywood, win a game of putt-putt golf, race go-karts, splash at waterparks, mine for gems, visit museums, and oh-so-much more! For outdoor fun, you can explore the Great Smoky Mountains National Park where you can hike to waterfalls, horseback ride through valleys, picnic by a river, and fly fish! Once the thrills & adventure are over, visit tanger outlets & local boutiques where you can shop until you drop. When it's dinner time, enjoy local cuisine from southern family-style restaurants to chef-cooked meals. After dinner, you can find a sweet shop on every corner to satisfy that sweet tooth before returning to the property.

Special Dates:
Out of respect for the holidays and our employees, we do NOT allow ANY check in or outs on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, or New Years Day.

Check-In:
4pm - there is NO check-in office, you go straight to the cabin. Once all your payments have been made, we will send you an email with the door code & we will resend it a week before your stay.

30 Day Cancelation & Damage Fee:

30 or More Days Before Arrival - full refund minus the $50 cancellation fee
29 or Fewer Days Before Arrival - we can move your dates (without penalty) or try to rebook your dates. If dates are fully rebooked, you will be refunded that amount minus the $50 cancellation fee. If dates are partially rebooked, you will only be refunded the amount that was rebooked (example: if you had 5 nights & we re-booked 4 nights = you will be refunded 4 nights + taxes & fees). If no dates are rebooked, you will forfeit all money paid towards your reservation.
Damage Coverage: covers you up to the amount that you paid for your damage fee on unintentional accidents to the property (any damages that exceed the damage fee, intentional or unintentional, will be charged to the credit card on file).
