A former dairy farm, our property has loads of charm and a heritage that goes back more than 100 years. You’ll love that we’re close to town, yet ever so tucked away. From our yard with towering trees to a hot tub, fire pit, cozy fireplace and Scandinavian-inspired interiors, we hope you’ll feel entirely at home.

The Space:
COEUR D’ALENE LOCATION
Old Oaks Farmstead Retreat is nestled on a 10-acre plot of land in Coeur d’Alene, about 3.5 miles to the heart of downtown. As our region has many attractions and outdoor wonders, here are favorite spots we like to share with guests:

RELAXING YARD
Our yard sprawls beneath towering oak, pine and aspen trees – with a red barn nearby and a creek that’s been here for many moons. In summer, it’s a great place for picnics and sunny naps. And in winter, snow angels and snowballs.

On the covered porch, our hot tub invites you to unwind no matter the season. You may also like to fire up the grill for burgers and steaks, or gather around the fire pit as stars twinkle like fireflies.

LIVING ROOM
Inside, you’ll find a setting that’s just as peaceful. The living room greets you with Scandinavian-inspired interiors like those at a stylish boutique hotel. A neutral color palette with wood, jute and rattan accents immediately puts you in vacation mode – while greenery and a gas fireplace make you feel more at home. After a day on the slopes or lake, is there any better spot to cozy up than our gray-blue sofa with a movie and popcorn?

KITCHEN & DINING AREA
Our farmhouse kitchen is awash in sunlight and good vibes. You’ll find plenty of touches that are modern yet brimming with warmth: white cabinets, floating wood shelves, a deep sink with brass faucet, a white tile backsplash and jute rug. All stainless-steel appliances are new, as are the cookware and dishware in our collection. This wouldn’t be a home away from home without olive oil, a good spice rack and a coffee and tea bar. We’re happy to stock them all for you.

When it’s time to eat, choose from the stools at our kitchen counter or the dining table surrounded by windows. Both are great places for games of cards, Monopoly and Tumblin’ Tower from our collection.

2 BEDROOMS, 3 BEDS
Just off the living room and kitchen, our two bedrooms invite you to sleep very, very well. Each has a comfy king bed and white linens as well as a nightstand, area rug, faux greenery and windows that bring in natural light. Our primary bedroom also has a sitting area and 65-inch TV.

Our home comfortably sleeps up to five guests.

1 BATHROOM
Our bathroom is a show-stopper, complete with a wooden vanity, brass fixtures and a walk-in shower with a rainfall shower head. Leave the following amenities at home as we’re happy to carry them for you: hand lotion, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, makeup washcloths and cotton balls, pads and swabs.

Getting Around:
By Car:
The most convenient way to get around Coeur d'Alene and explore the surrounding areas is by car. From our vacation home, you can easily access major roads and highways, including Interstate 90, which provides quick connections to downtown Coeur d'Alene, Spokane, and other nearby attractions. Parking is available onsite, ensuring hassle-free transportation during your stay.

Public Transportation:
While public transportation options are limited in this area, there are taxi services and ride-sharing apps readily available for those who prefer not to drive.
