In the alleys redolent of history in Izmir, centrally located yet secluded from the bustle, stands an inviting detached house offering both pleasure and safety.
A stone's throw from the Historical Elevator (Tarihi Asansör) and Dario Moreno street, the house boasts free parking right at its doorstep.
Adjacent to the house lies Lovers' Hill Cafe (Aşıklar Tepesi), where a morning cup of coffee comes with a breathtaking view of the bay.
A mere minute's stroll from Lovers' Hill takes you to the historical elevator, adjacent to an affordable municipal-owned restaurant. Indulge in a dinner replete with a panoramic view and capture unforgettable moments in photographs.
Embark on a historical journey as you step onto the iconic elevator, descending approximately 150 meters to the sea level at Dario Moreno Street. This bustling street is adorned with an array of charming cafes and vibrant bars, making it a must-visit for tourists exploring Izmir.
Effortlessly access Kemeraltı and ancient ruins, while venturing to nearby districts (Çeşme, Alaçatı, Urla, Seferihisar, Foça, Ephesus, etc.) by private vehicle takes between 45 minutes to an hour.
Kindly specify the number of guests staying. For international guests, passport details are required; for locals, an ID number will be requested upon check-in. For security purposes, a surveillance camera monitors the house's entrance.
The layout of the house is as follows:
Ground floor: bedroom, kitchen, and dining area
Upper floor: master bedroom, lounge, half bath, and balcony
Lower floor: main bathroom
Please note that the small bedroom on the ground floor may be inaccessible depending on the number of occupants. Otherwise, all areas of the house are accessible.
When making reservations, indicate the number of occupants. Also, bear in mind the surveillance camera at the entrance for headcount purposes.
Guests can reach us round the clock through the designated applications throughout their stay.
The street where the house stands is steeped in history, characterized by narrow pathways. While the area typically consists of hills and stairs, the precise location we occupy is predominantly level ground.
When it comes to transportation, the Historical Elevator serves as a pivotal point of reference. Utilizing this historical marvel ensures a seamless journey from sea level to our abode, sparing you any exertion or fatigue.
As the water meter for the house is indoors, an attendant will visit during your stay to record the meter's number. This occurs monthly, leaving the identity of the fortunate recorder up to chance. :)
