The space
Throughout the past 80 years, Linmar has been to South America, Alaska, and up and down the East Coast & West Coast. Unfortunately in 2005, while in San Fransisco, an electrical fire left her interior charred and the boat was deemed a complete loss. Fortunately, a man with a vision took up the project and began to restore the boat to its original glory.
Thus, transforming the classic yacht to what you see today! She is outfitted with all new construction, systems, and beautiful teak + genuine mahogany woodwork. The boat has exterior teak decks and a large living room for guests to enjoy. In addition:
- (2) Dining rooms, one inside and one under cover outside, with 180 degree views of the harbor and MT. Rainer
- (5) Staterooms (bedrooms): (3) with queen beds, (1) with two twin beds, (1) with four twin beds
- (1) Galley (kitchen): new kitchen-aid appliances - a stove top, double oven, freezer, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and sink
Guest access
The net shed, other boats and docks are not part of this rental
Other things to note
While an impressive 78', Linmar is still a boat with close quarters. Guests must be able to nimbly move around the space.
Occasionally there will be events/celebrations in the net shed. It’s too cool of a venue to not host events in. Please feel free to walk through to access your boat. Know that we will comply with quiet hours at 10pm too.
