The Space:
This cozy 2-bedroom classic Lake Tahoe home is the perfect launching pad for any Lake Tahoe experience. When you aren’t out exploring all that Tahoe has to offer there is plenty to keep you entertained at this cozy home! Enjoy relaxing in the large living room with your loved ones, wander around the forested backyard, or soak away in the hot tub. This home has everything you need for a comfortable and memorable stay in Tahoe.
When you step into the home you will arrive at the spacious living room area where you will find two sitting areas providing plenty of space for your group to spread out and relax. Cozy up with family and friends in the great room as you warm up by the gas fireplace which is situated in a lovely stone hearth. This space features a comfortable sofa perfect for curling up on as you warm up by the fire. Connected to the great room is the living room where you will find a leather sofa sectional situated around a 40" TV making it the perfect spot for a movie night or for having a game night with one of the several board games you will find in the home.
Just behind the living room and great room, you will find the open kitchen and dining area. This social and spacious open-concept layout makes it easy to stay connected to your group whether you are cooking, eating, or just relaxing! When you step into the dining room you will find a dining table with seating for 6 tucked next to a large window providing plenty of natural light in the space. Bridging the dining area to the kitchen is a beautiful kitchen bar with four bar stools providing a comfortable spot to grab breakfast or snacks. The chef in your group will enjoy preparing a meal in the fully equipped kitchen where you will find beautiful granite countertops, plenty of counter space, stainless steel appliances, and all of the kitchenware you’ll need to prepare homecooked meals.
When you are ready to settle in for the night the home has 2 private bedrooms located down the hallway from the living room/great room area providing a quiet separation of space for a good night's rest. The master bedroom features a comfortable king-size bed with a lovely bedframe, two nightstands with lamps, and a large window with views of the surrounding trees. The master bedroom has the added comforts of an attached bathroom which features a shower/bathtub combo so you can freshen up before tucking in for the night. The second bedroom is great for sharing with two twin beds separated by a desk perfect for those looking for a quiet workspace if needed. The home features additional sleeping accommodations with a sofa bed a comfortable memory foam mattress in the living room, and a queen blow-up mattress. A second full bathroom can be found at the end of the hallway near the bedrooms.
From the common area, you can head out to the spacious deck, the perfect space for entertaining during the summer months. The deck is surrounded by trees providing a private and quiet space to fully immerse yourself in the tranquil scenery. On the deck, you will find a 6-person hot tub, a picnic table with an umbrella perfect for dining, 2 patio lounge chairs, and a BBQ. You can easily spend a day hanging out in this great outdoor space or let the kids run around the backyard!

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire home, outdoor deck, and hot tub. Guests will also have access to two parking spaces in the driveway.
The Neighborhood:
Tucked away from the main road in a quiet and safe neighborhood, this cozy mountain cabin is in an unbeatable location for a family-friendly vacation in Tahoe. During the summer months take a short walk down the street where you will find an endless network of National Forest trails for walks, runs, and bike rides. Or make the quick 2-minute drive to Patton Beach, which is dog-friendly and great for swimming. Nearby Patton Beach you will find more entertainment and dining options such as the famous Garwoods Bar and Grill, a wonderful lakefront dining experience, CB’s Bistro and Pizza for family dinners, Magic Carpet Mini Golf and Arcade for the little ones, and a 7-11 for all of your late-night needs. The beautiful Carnelian West Beach provides another excellent swimming spot just a five-minute drive from the home.
In the winter months, you are only 20 minutes from Northstar, 25 minutes to Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows, and 10 minutes from the Tahoe City Nordic Center where you will find a huge network of trails for XC Skiing or snowshoeing. A short walk from the home will take you to a small hill that is great for sledding! And all those wonderful trails on the National Forest system are perfect for enjoying some XC skiing and snowshoeing in the winter months.
If a little less physical activity is what you are looking for, you are just a 10-minute drive west to Tahoe City and 5 minutes east from Kings Beach. In both places, you will find sandy beaches, farmers markets and major grocery stores, golf courses, small boutique shopping, waterfront parks, golf courses, weekly concerts in the summer, and a wide variety of bars and restaurants. You are also 10 minutes from the Nevada state line, where you will find casinos and concert venues. This cabin is the perfect launching pad for any Lake Tahoe experience!
Getting Around:
Centrally located off HWY 28 and within walking distance of a public transportation stop, you can comfortably get by without having a vehicle if needed. Less than a half-mile walk from the home, you will find a public transportation TART stop at Hwy 28 at Agate Rd. From here, you are just a 20-minute bus ride to Kings Beach or Tahoe City. Easily connect to other locations at the Tahoe City Transit Center, where you can find buses to locations such as Northstar California Resort. The home is also nearby a Night Rider bus stop, however, please note that the night rider bus is only offered seasonally. If flying into the Reno airport, guests can take a shuttle bus to Carnelian Bay, where the home is located.
Those with a vehicle will love the close proximity to HWY 28 and the quick access it provides to the beautiful surrounding areas. With less than a 10-minute drive, you can be at Tahoe City or the Nevada state line! Just a two-minute drive will take you to Patton Beach, and the popular Kings Beach is only a 7-minute drive away. In the wintertime, you are centrally located for skiing all of the best resorts with a 20-minute drive or less from three of the area's best ski resorts, Northstar, Squaw Valley ski resort, and Tahoe Nordic Cross Country Center.
Tahoe has UBER, Lyft, and many taxi companies.
Other Things to Note:
Please note that, like most homes in the area, this home does not have A/C.
If you are renting this home from November through March, please remember that there may be winter driving conditions, and a 4-wheel drive with all-terrain tires or snow chains for your 2-wheel drive tires might be necessary for safe travel. Even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days, side roads can still be icy and have snow on them. Please also be aware of long travel times and pass closures due to winter weather conditions.
If you are renting this home from April until the first snowfall, there are NO fires allowed in Lake Tahoe.
Please note that grills and outdoor furniture are not available during the months of November to April due to snow.
Please keep in mind that if you plan to ski, you are responsible for verifying the ski resorts' opening and closing dates.

• The credit card holder must provide a picture of the back and front of their ID via a secure and encrypted portal upon confirmation for fraud protection.
• Please promptly respond to any inquiries or requests for additional information to ensure the confirmation of your booking; failure to respond in a sufficient manner may lead to cancellation of the reservation.
