I grew up in the Lake City area and I plan to retire at The Lake House with my family and friends nearby. I am an active duty Army Officer currently stationed at Ft. Bliss, TX. I love to sit by the fire and watch the sunsets at night and have my children, grandchildren, family, and friends here when I am able to get home. This is my happy place!

This is a tranquil area with primarily seasonal cottages. The Lake House is on a dead-end road, so the traffic is very light except on holiday weekends. Everyone is friendly and social. You will often find people out for a bike ride or walk in the evenings and early morning. The front porch is one of my favorite spots to sit and view the lake. I also like walking across the road to the beach, viewing the sunset at night, and listening to the Loons.

The Lake House is a beautiful, cozy home where you can make family memories. There are many special features and amenities to make your vacation a great Up North Experience on Lake Missaukee. The Lake House is large and a great gathering place for the whole family. That is why I purchased this home. I have space for all the family to come and stay so that we can make memories together and enjoy the lake. The Lake City/Cadillac Area offers something for everyone. Bring your bicycle to ride in the neighborhood or get out on the local trails. There is a beach area with crystal clear water to swim and play with the kids. If the power goes out there is a whole house generator that will turn on so you still have electricity. The garage is set up as a game room with a large refrigerator, big screen television, x-box, air hockey, Foose ball and a wide selection of board games with seating to gather, socialize and have fun! The Lake House Features a large backyard and deck with a hot tub, fireplace, and several areas to gather and socialize. There are two corn hole games and several other yard games available for entertainment. Each of the rooms features USB plug-ins for your electronic devices. TAKE A DRINK, LEAVE A DRINK! The refrigerator in the garage is already stocked with various drinks and the wine racks have assorted wines. Please feel free to enjoy it, but replace it with a drink or wine of your choice for the next incoming family. I have provided a wide variety of games and areas to socialize and enjoy them. I just ask that you put the games away in the boxes in an orderly manner. The bookcase in The Murphy Room is full of books for your reading pleasure. Please return the books to the bookcase before you leave for others to enjoy.
