Summary:
Welcome to Surf Station 1 built right on the Texas Ave beach access, which is one of the most popular surfing spots on the island! This ground level end unit 1 bedroom / 1 bath apartment was renovated in 2021 and is surprisingly spacious! Ocean views from your bedroom and living room and you're less than 30 steps before your toes hit the sand! There is an outdoor shower too!

The Space:
All Going Coastal properties include bed linens, bathing towels, paper products, and soaps/shampoos. Please bring your own beach gear, or we can recommend our favorite local vendors for rentals (including bikes and golf cart rentals).

Guest Access:
Two parking spaces directly in front of apartment. Bikes and Golf Cart community, please let us know if you need helping finding a rental company.

The Neighborhood:
Conveniently located to all things Carolina Beach: biking, kayaking, fishing charters, hiking at the CB State Park and our famous boardwalks and fishing piers with great restaurants and shopping! Downtown Wilmington and the airport less than 45 minuets away!

Getting Around:
Apartment has two parking spaces directly in front of the unit. Carolina Beach is a golf cart and bike friendly community. Please let us know if you need help with rental company recommendations.

Other Things to Note:

Perfect stay for a special weekend

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This trip was planned for my then boyfriend, now fiancé to propose! We stayed with our two pups this past weekend and could not have picked a better spot. The surf station units are conveniently located right by Texas ave beach acces which makes going to the beach so easy. The unit itself was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for our weekend getaway! This place will hold a very special place in our heart! And we definitely will be back!

Great location

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rental was clean. Photos are an accurate representation of the rental. The location was amazing. There is central AC and a window unit in the living room/kitchen area. However, with the summer heat, it’s difficult for the central AC to keep up. Therefore, the box unit was put in. However, there’s probably a 10° difference between the bedroom and the living room/kitchen area. We were able to sleep comfortably, but it made the living room almost unusable because it was uncomfortably cold. Overall, it was a good experience.

great place

We enjoyed our stay and the apartment had everything we needed (except a dresser or chest of drawers). It was right at the beach, although not on the beach. We didn't have to cross a street to get to the beach, which was especially nice. It is also right beside a beach access - even nicer. The outdoor shower was great! One thing - the ceiling fan/light in the bedroom needs a attention. The light would cut off on its own and the fan would change speeds whenever the light cut off. Weird. Probably needs a new switch or to be replaced. A fan in the living room would be nice since the window unit didn't really cool down the bedroom that much. We would stay there again!

Texas Beach Area

When you walk in being greeted by the smell that a dog just left the area, was not cool. Second no smoke detectors in the unit and also the ac unit was a window set. Looks like the other units has been update with central air. I will not stay there again.
