Come and enjoy our cozy modern cabin perched high on a mountain on 12 acres near downtown Boone! While well appointed, this cozy cabin really encourages you to enjoy the outdoors. Enjoy a wide view of the mountain landscape while grilling or relaxing on the large deck, or roast marshmallows over the fire pit while watching the sunset over the peaks in the distance.
Our cozy modern cabin is nestled on 12 acres of secluded mountain-top land, providing a tranquil and serene experience. The home comes fully equipment with a well-stocked kitchen, toiletries, and more. If you are looking for a well-designed home in the middle of nature, but still close enough to all that Boone has to offer, this is the home for you!
*Although the driveway is fully graveled and maintained, it is steep. While not 100% necessary, we do recommend an AWD vehicle.* (Small price to pay for the spectacular view in our opinion!)
This 850 sqft cabin has a large master bedroom with a sitting area, queen bed with memory foam mattress, walk in closet, and sliding glass door onto the deck. A large kitchen shares an open floor plan with a small dining area and sitting room. The one full bathroom includes a tile shower with three shower heads for a spa like experience. The second bedroom has a built in bunk bed with two twin xl memory foam mattresses. This second bedroom is well suited for kids but can accommodate adults as well. There are plenty of windows throughout the house which allow you to feel really connected with the beautiful landscape.
Small dogs welcome, prior approval required for dogs over 50 lbs. Three dog limit please. No cats due to allergies.
The ski slopes are only about 25 - 30 mins away!
If you do decide to stay at our lovely home, we do charge the following fees separately after you book:
1) Refundable Security Deposit - $300. We recommend paying this with a credit card since it will only be a hold placed on your card during your reservation. If you pay with a debit card or direct ACH transfer, the money will be withdrawn from your account 3 days before check-in and refunded 3 days afterwards upon successful inspection of the premises.
2) Dogs - $100/dog per reservation. We allow up to three dogs per reservation to be paid after booking. Please note this is not reflected in your reservation price and is an additional charge.
3) We also require all of our guests to upload a photo ID to their precheck-in portal to confirm their identity before we will give access to the property.
If you have pets on the property, you are responsible for their safety and the safety of others in the neighborhood. Please pickup all feces and dispose of it properly (using a doggie back) in the outside trash can.
Absolutely NO parties or events, gatherings, functions of any kind, loud music, excessive noise, offensive behavior, illegal firearms or weapons, illegal substances including narcotics, drug paraphernalia, fireworks, sparklers, or incendiary devices, and illegal activities.
Please note that this is a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Kindly keep any music at a reasonable level and be respectful of our neighbors. Any reports of excess noise or trespassing on neighbor properties could result in guests being asked to leave. We do however encourage you to explore the land North and East of the house (follow the overgrown roadbed up the mountain).
Security cameras are installed (legally) over the front entrance and rear entrance. There are no interior cameras.
For insurance purposes, it's important that the # of guests match the booking. Other overnight guests not listed at the time of booking are strictly prohibited by them. If at any time you are expecting additional guests, please let us know prior to check in. You are also responsible for any visitors that enter the rental property.
While this is a family friendly home, it is not child proof. If you have any children with you during your stay, please mind them at all times.
Please respect the home as if it were your own and leave the home in the SAME condition as you find it.
For makeup removal, please USE BLACK towels provided.
Report any issues, damages and breakages immediately.
Smoking of any kind (includes vaping) is strictly prohibited in the home; if smoking outside, do so with all doors and windows completely closed, stand away from the home, and please pick up and dispose of all remnants.
Gas Blackstone grill is for your use - please make sure the gas is turned off and the grill cleaned before you leave. If you have never used a Blackstone please consider watching a youtube video on how to cook and clean while using the grill.
Please only use candles in case of a power outage, and make sure they're attended.
Consequences relating to non-compliance of Codes of Conduct or House Rules include, but are not limited to extra charges, early termination, immediate eviction and further recovery action relating to any damage, loss or theft. Any breach may result in immediate termination of the rental agreement and a report lodged with the local authorities.
If you understand and agree to the rules and want to book a reservation, please send us the phrase "Got It. I accept!" along with the purpose of your stay and a short description about yourself in your message. This is required and will serve as confirmation that you've read the house rules in their entirety, have acknowledged, agreed and will adhere to them.
