The ultimate Up North experience awaits at Collins Lakehouse, sitting pretty right on the shores of Sunday Lake. Just nine miles from downtown Minocqua, you’ll feel a world away at this pine log chalet, which sits on a point with western exposure. Watch breathtaking sunsets from the large upper deck or lower patio, or take the provided rowboat or double kayak for a ride to spot wildlife such as loons, otters, and bald eagles. If you’d rather fish all day, plenty of fishing poles are available to help you land the big one. Spend winter months snuggled up in front of the fireplace, ice fishing, or bring your cross-country skis to use at the Minocqua Winter Park, a little over six miles away.

Inside, you’ll find soaring pine-paneled ceilings, an open layout, and up-north rustic decor throughout. The main level combines the full, well-equipped kitchen with the dining area and great room, with many windows facing the lake and surrounding woods. Downstairs you’ll find another family room with the second of two streaming-capable TVs, movies, puzzles, board games, and a fireplace for those cozy nights in. All four bedrooms feature a lake view, and lucky guests of the primary bedroom will enjoy an en suite bath and direct deck access. Thoughtful family-friendly amenities include a Pack ’N Play, baby gate, high chair, and toddler bed rail. Additional perks include central air-conditioning, a washer/dryer, and free WiFi.

During peak season, from Memorial day to Labor Day, this home is only bookable Sunday-Sunday.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.

Dock details: The dock is roughly 40 ft long, around 4 ft deep, and end. There is a boat lift and pontoon onsite that is not for guest use.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
