A gracious living room for before or after dinner entertaining, a comfy family room with smart TV, a cozy library filled with books, and a dining room with a large table for eight. The bedrooms, all upstairs, are bright and welcoming and the master has an ensuite bathroom with glassed shower. Two additional renovated full baths and one half bath well serve the other three bedrroms.
The charm and early 1900's details, including unique pressed tin ceilings in each downstairs room, and tasteful contemporary and classic art on the walls combine to make this house unique and very livable.
Outside, a 50X16 salt water pool set in perennial gardens, two patios (one with dining table and lights in the overhanging tree branches), a roofed front porch furnished with wicker seating area and a back deck with chairs and grill make it perfect for outdoor fun, dining and entertaining. In the cooler months a fire pit and Adirondack chairs beckon you beyond the patio. The idyllic location on a quiet country road boasts its own lavender field and woods to walk in. Walk or snowshoe through a field to the adjacent Churchtown Dairy to see the animals and taste 'the farm's artisinal cheese. Ideally located within ten minutes of farms, distillleries and breweries. . Amtrak is only 15 minutes away.

HOUSE RULES (please review before booking):
- Guests must docusign a rental agreement with pool waiver.
- We are a no shoes house, guests must remove shoes at entryway.
- No pets, no parties, or events.
- Quiet hours are enforced between 11 p.m. and 8 a.m. We must keep outdoor noise levels to a minimum during these hours.
- Longer stays (more than a week) require a weekly cleaning for guests to pay.
- All outbuildings (barn, little houses) are off limits due to safety concerns.
- All gates to the pool area must be kept closed at all times.
- No Smoking, cigarette butts found on property or in fire pit will incur fees.
- 8 nightly guests and up to 4 additional daily visitors are permitted.
- Children (under 18) must be supervised by an adult indoors and outdoors.
- Food / garbage should not be left outside, as it will attract bears.
- Proper foot ware should be outdoors on lawn and deck at all times.
- Only plastic plates and cups outside. No breakable dinnerware or glasses.
