Welcome to Hono Hideaway located in the stunning Ka'anapali Shores Resort.

See the ocean from every room of this beautiful, top-floor FOUR-story condo in the oceanfront wing of the Ka'anapali Shores resort! You'll feel like you're walking on water as you step onto the lanai to watch passing whales, turtles, and snorkelers. This ideal retreat has been recently renovated to provide the best lodging experience with new carpet, bathrooms, decor, and appliances! Enjoy a view of the ocean as you cook in the fully remodeled kitchen. Choose to rest your head in one of two bedrooms on the lower level or the third bedroom on the upper level, accessible by a spiral staircase. There is also a sofa bed in the living room, central AC to keep you cool, and shared access to two pools, hot tubs, and a fitness room (fees apply).

*What's nearby:*
You'll be just a few steps from the resort's pool and within an easy walk of the sandy beach. You'll also find tennis courts on the mauka (toward the mountain) side of the resort, and renowned golf courses just a couple of miles away (including the world-famous Kapalua courses less than 10 miles north). Take the family a few miles south to Whaler's Village, where you can shop at high-end national and local retailers, get the best mai tai on Maui at Monkeypod, or just lounge on Ka'anapali Beach. Even closer to home, you can shop and grab coffee half a mile up Honoapi'ilani Road at the farmers market and the local coffee shop.

Parking Details:
Your parking fee is $9.95 per day (per vehicle) and is paid directly to the resort upon arrival. If you are taking a shuttle, please stop at the resort front desk to let them know you have arrived.

This home comes with a pack n' play travel crib available. A high chair can be provided upon request with at least 24hrs advanced notice. Just ask and we are happy to accommodate you and your little ones!

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit.

Amazing condo with a stunning view
This place looks just like the pictures. Right up on the beach with great views from the top story of the building. The condo itself was really nice, a bit old but has been nicely updated and is in good condition. It can get a bit warm but the AC and fans do a decent job keeping it from getting bad, and the breeze helped too. We loved that they provided beach chairs and other gear including some snorkeling gear. It was also fantastic having access to the resort amenities. Our younger kids absolutely loved the children's pool and wanted to go there every day! There's also a grocery store, food truck park, and a few other restaurants very close by, mostly walking distance really. We would definitely recommend this place to people in the future.

Beautiful views
We normally stay at Kaanapali Shores so we are familiar with the property. This was our first time in this unit. It was clean & well maintained. Views were amazing & the sounds of the ocean were soothing. The host/property manager welcomed us by text & card left in our room & was quick to answer any questions. I love staying in this building bc parking is so convenient & close to your unit. This owner offers so many extras like beach chairs, beach umbrellas, sand toys & small cooler. We appreciated that very much. We loved our stay & will be back for sure.

Great vacation!
Everything was great and super easy from purchase to check-out. Communication was fantastic and all questions were answered right away. The condo looks just like the photos. The kitchen has everything and more that you may need. We had family ages 25 to 79 and everyone loved it! We would definitely stay here again!

Great spot!
The property is part of a large resort and although the condo is privately owned, you still get full access to all resort amenities. The gym and tennis court are extra cost but minimal if you want to make use of them. Check in was easy and the location of the unit was easy to find. View is spectacular and you’re literally right at the beach being the last unit on the 4th floor. There is plenty of beach chairs, a couple coolers, and beach toys provided which was very useful. The kitchen had everything you need to make your stay comfortable. There was lots of room for 4 adults and two kids. Couple minor things worth mentioning - Ceiling fan doesn’t go full speed and air conditioning isn’t that strong in the master. Room gets quite warm in the afternoon when the sun comes around. - No BBQ. There is supposed to be a communal BBQ area in the property but we couldn’t locate it. - Dryer doesn’t work very well and clothes take forever to try. Especially towels. - The spiral stairs to the upstairs rooms would be tough if you have any mobility issues. Fine for us but something to be considered. We had a great stay overall and would recommend to others without hesitation.

Anniversary Celebration
Family loved our Hawaii stay. Location is the best. You would have to be in a boat to be closer to the water. Resort not as busy as others but still close to everything. Condo a little dated & needed a bathroom upstairs. Host always available. Check in & check out easy. Overall a winner. I recommend it.
