Set in luscious palm fronds and with its own manicured landscape, the Emerald Island Resort® Clubhouse offers an array of complimentary amenities available to all guests staying at this disney area vacation home. You can stay in shape or tone up your muscles in the state-of-the-art fitness room. The 4,000 square foot club house at Emerald Island® provides high speed Internet access with a number of computer terminals available for guests use. You may choose to sun yourself as you meet other guests around the heated community pool and spa, or have a drink at the Tiki Bar. There's even a sundry shop in the reception area if you run short of sun block or need a drink and a snack! The newly added mini golf course will be a sure hit with family of all ages, as well as the volleyball court and sports court—which showcases tennis, basketball, and pickleball courts. Emerald Island is ideally located for fantastic vacations on Disney's doorstep, with some of the best shops and restaurants in Kissimmee just a couple of minutes away, and Walt Disney World® less than 3 short miles from this villa.
"The Tahitian" boasts some of the most luxurious amenities to enjoy while visiting the entertainment capital of the World...and it's less than 3 miles from Disney's doorstep! With 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, this fully air-conditioned, elegant vacation home in Orlando is perfect for family groups. It sleeps up to 14 guests in spacious comfort. "The Tahitian" has a generously sized family room to relax in together during the day or evening, with sumptuous sofas and love-seats, upscale window treatments, coffee table, occasional tables with lamps, and an entertainment center with a big-screen TV, VCR, DVD player and surround sound system - so you can watch your favorite movie, or listen to the music that you love (you'll have to bring it!). Step out from the family room, through the sweeping doors onto the lanai with table and cushioned chairs, and a stunning extra-large pool deck, sparkling clear waters of the pool and bubbling 6-guest spa pool (both the pool and spa pool can be optionally heated for an additional charge of $35/day - there is an additional service charge if added within 24 hours of check-in). The spa pool is not a hot tub and does not get above 100 degrees. The heat for the pool and spa only runs from 8 am to 9 pm. The pool deck is provided with a removable safety fence for extra added protection for you should you need it, and all doors leading to the deck area have been provided with additional safety locks and switchable alarms.
As if that's not enough entertainment - the garage at "The Tahitian" has been converted to a games room, with an air-hockey table, Foosball table, and an electronic basketball game for the kids to enjoy whenever they like! If you need to surf the web during your stay, the owner has thoughtfully provided high speed internet access* in the home.
Enjoying family meals together while on vacation couldn't be simpler. Choose to eat out at one of the many fine restaurants within minutes of "The Tahitian" - or choose to prepare a fabulous family feast or a quick snack in the well-equipped kitchen. Then enjoy the meal together at the breakfast bar, nook, or formal dining room...or simply go out and enjoy the food al-fresco by the pool. The stunning kitchen has been fully equipped with everything that you could need to cook up that special family meal, or rustle up a snack. There's a gourmet-style island to prepare food on, and almost every need has been addressed—from a tea kettle, coffee pot, and Keurig to crockpots, baking pans, a mixer, and blender the Tahitian has you covered.
Sleeping accommodations at "The Tahitian" is - as you would expect - up-scale and luxurious. Choose from one of two master suites with king-size beds, or two additional 'junior' master bedrooms, also with king-size beds. Each master bedroom suite provides spacious and gracious, restful luxury accommodation, with a king-size pillow-top bed, night stands with lamps, dresser, cable TV's (all of which are state-of-the-art flat screens with DVD players—some are smart TV's, walk-in or spacious closets, and en-suite bathrooms. Two of the master bathrooms provide his 'n' hers vanity basins, walk-in showers (with speakman shower heads), corner "Roman" tubs, and closeted comfort height toilets. The other 2 master bedrooms each have bathrooms with walk-in showers, comfort height toilets, and vanity basins for comfort. A fifth bedroom provides a queen-size bed with all of the creature comforts. Quality bed linens are provided, as are bath towels and pool towels.
Two further bedrooms are the perfect place for the kids to rest - one offering 2 bunk beds (sleeps 4 excited children!) and the other with 1 queen-size bed. Both have nightstands, cable TV's and a shared jack and jill bathroom.
Trouble accessing stairs? No problem, the 7th bedroom is conveniently located on the first floor with a king bed and a full bathroom right beside it. The bathroom boasts a large walk-in shower, vanity, and comfort height toilet.
The Tahitian Villa vacation home at Emerald Island also offers a telephone system to guests to enable you to make FREE local, long distance and select international phone calls from this home near Walt Disney World® in Florida (restrictions apply- see terms). There is a fully equipped laundry room with washer, dryer and ironing facilities.
The Tahitian Villa is a non-smoking property and no pets are allowed.
Important to note: there is a $20 per vehicle per stay access card fee charged assessed by the resort, this fee is not collected through your rental with us. You will need to pay that fee prior to arriving at the resort. We will need more information to send you the link to pay for your card, you will receive an email from us shortly after booking. Our property only allows 4 vehicles/cards to be registered.
Please note that trucks, commercial vehicles, campers, mobile homes, recreational vehicles, motor homes, house trailers, trailers of every other description, boats, jet skis (or other similar watercraft) boats and other watercraft trailers, horse trailers, or horse vans are not permitted to be parked or to be stored at any place on the Property, or on the Emerald Island resort.
