While never used as a chapel, the chalet was designed to look like one in order to complete the ambiance of our village. The architect, Mr Jacques White, created the look of a chapel by adding elements that we typically find in a church: a sacristy, rood screen, apses, and a steeple. Our village offers a brief foray into the architectural history of Quebec.
A logistical feat, this large farmhouse was transported from Saint-Gervais-de-Bellechasse which is 150 km from here. It was rebuilt in the summer of 2002.
This country house with its large open communal spaces, as well as gaming and lounging areas, is well suited for large groups. A large stone fireplace stands in the main room. The walls and windows in this room are also authentic from the old farmhouse.
The Chapel can accommodate up to 41 people. The total surface is 5,300 ft2 (495 m2) across all floors. The main living area has a surface of 1,500 ft2 (140 m2).
