Welcome to Byers Retreat! New Mennonite built cabin completed in October 2019 on 5 acres of land! Unwind on 1,394 feet of covered wrap around decking featuring an outdoor fireplace, propane grill, dining, and lounge areas. Perfect to enjoy from your cup of coffee in the morning, to a nice glass of wine in the evening!

First floor features a stunning fully stocked kitchen with hickory cabinets, stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, and island seating for two. MASSIVE solid wood dining table for 10+. Two piece powder room. Cathedral ceiling with open loft area. Floor to ceiling gas fire place. Convenient mudroom with EXTRA LARGE laundry. Master suite with a king size bed, Smart TV, electric fire place, and four piece bathroom makes the perfect romantic hideaway!

Second floor features a bedroom with a queen bed, Smart TV, and electric fireplace! Loft area has a queen sized day bed over looking the living and dining space, and a full bath!

The basement boasts two bedrooms both with queen over queen bunks, Smart TV's, and electric fire places! The main living space has a BIG screen Smart TV, comfortable wrap around couch, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade game, and a pool table!

Step outside of the walk out basement to your secluded oasis featuring a hot tub and bistro lights, and onto the lighted stone path that will lead you to an over sized fire pit for s'mores and smiles!!!

Any and all professional photoshoots, videography, productions, and/or commercial and professional services must be disclosed and approved for an additional fee!

***Any booking taking place over a holiday requires a 3 night minimum***

Family Celebration

Enjoyed our time at Byers Retreat. Had a few issues with getting owners to response to us with resending email to receive access code. Spoke with them again regarding using gas fireplaces, we simply had some questions. Josh just kept saying over and over with each question, read the manual. (Which was in front of us) He was pretty rude. In the end, the outdoor fireplace was not operational, (so the manual was not that helpful.) which was a shame given the chill night on the porch. All other areas of the home was as listed and we enjoyed our time.

Beautiful getaway

House was very clean and beautifully laid out. Plenty of space for everyone in our group of 12. The wrap around porch was so nice to enjoy the outdoors! So many extras in the kitchen to make cooking easy so we didn’t have to leave and could relax. Highly recommend!

Great house!

This was a beautiful house with so many amenities that our family with 4 young adults had no problem finding things to do! It was completely stocked and very clean. The beds and pillows were SO comfy. Just a heads up that it is about 35 minute drive from Hocking Hills trails and caves but there is hiking in Wayne National Park and another smaller trail that was beautiful right down the road. We would definitely stay here again!

We are Brittany & Joshua, proud owners of Byers Vacation Rentals, LLC! We have two luxury cabins located in the beautiful Hocking Hills area, Byers Retreat and our newest addition, Byers Haven! Both conveniently located on the same road behind Wayne National Forest, and next to the Dorr Run ATV trails. All major trails and caves only a 20-minute drive from our beautiful cabins!

We love entertaining our family and friends and were excited at the opportunity to create a luxurious yet comfortable space for all to enjoy! We are extremely hands-on with both of our properties and strive to create a space that you can arrive, relax, and start making those forever memories!

We absolutely love this property! Open concept with lots of indoor and outdoor living space to enjoy with friends and family! Perfectly located next to Wayne National Forest, with access to ATV trails only 1 mile from the cabin! We are looking into adding a pool in the future! :)
