First time with VERBO
We got into the condo easy enough. But then I had to start cleaning. I quickly realized I wouldn’t cook here. Most of the dishes were cheap plastic. I wish I could post pictures of the cabinets, broken doors, one door screwed in place. Food crumbs in the silverware drawer, I washed the baskets and silverware we would use for toast.
The bathroom was very dirty. The bathtub had dark black lines and black spots in it.
The add said two bathrooms, which we didn’t need, but I was surprised there was only one. Maybe a mistake. The add also said the beach was across the street. It was across two roads with several buildings in between. You couldn’t see the beach and you had to walk half a mile to get to the beach. No directions to find the beach. We found the second beach access by accident.
Had difficulty getting the tv to work. I had to call and leave a message. Same with the air conditioning. They did send someone to fix it but I hate that nobody answered the phone. I forgot to mention that the outside light didn’t work and some electric plate covers were missing. Two sinks dripped constantly. Bathroom door scraped on the floor so you really had to push. The plastic chairs outside the door were old and faded and one was cracked. And if I knew the building was going to be sprayed for bugs while we were there I don’t think I would have booked at that time. I don’t know who cleans this place but I would think they would report problems to the owners. They tell you to call with any problems.
All and all we were only there six nights. The bed was comfortable and the coffee machine worked. Location was good just not what we were led to believe. I don’t usually complain but this was bad. For the price I expected more.
