Desert Relaxation

We stayed here for 2 nights during our visit to Joshua Tree National Park. The house is located very close to the North entrance to the park, restaurants (Rib Co, Jelley Donut, McDonalds, etc) and supermarket (Stater Bros) so we were able to drive around to all the activities pretty easily. I would warn that cars drive fast on the highway leading to and from the house. The house itself was well furnished and plenty of space for our family of 3. The backyard opens up to a wide open space for some exploration and view of the desert and mountains. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, utensils, etc and we enjoyed morning coffee in the back patio and breakfast nook. We didn't have to use the A/C unit but glad they're there in every room for temp control. Overall a great place to stay if you're visiting JNP and wanted a space to relax and unwind.

Scenic view

Nice and quaint. The air conditioner was so wonderful after a hot day of hiking. Close to JT and a spectacular view for the sunrise.

Beautiful home in a beautiful setting

Even though we arrived very late at night, she was flexible and accommodating. The house was clean and nicely decorated. Feels like you are deep in the desert, but right off the main road so easy to get into town.

Together with the City of Twentynine Palms and Visit29, I am is committed to tourism sustainability concepts and practices in the high desert. I am also actively involved as a steering committee member for the Joshua Tree Art Exposition.I appreciate our neighbors and respect their peace and privacy. Therefore, this home is not suited for large groups or to have parties, or any function that would disturb the peace of the neighboring
