Kürzlich in der Providence Journal 'Neighborhood der Woche "-Artikel, wunderbare drei Schlafzimmern und zwei Bädern Ferienhaus in einer großartigen Lage, einen Block vom Strand vorgestellt. Wurde im Jahr 1938 mit dem Charme und Upgrades gebaut. Warum fahren oder zu Fuß weit, während andere sagen, sie sind in der Nähe, wir sind in einen Block von Scarborough Beach, (siehe Google maps), und auf der Busleitung. Große Vorder- und Rückseite drei Saison Sonnenveranden mit Meerblick zum Entspannen, Lesen oder Essen. Master-Schlafzimmer-Rückzug im zweiten Stock mit Blick auf das Meer und das Meer mit Blick auf Deck. Sonnige und moderne, voll ausgestattete Küche und Familienzimmer, Kabel-TV / DVD / Stereo usw. Große Halle Haus Fahrrad oder Strand Lagerung. Außerhalb eingeschlossen warm / kalt Dusche, 4 Parkplätze, Grill, Waschmaschine / Trockner, etc. Lesen Sie unsere Berichte.

Unser Haus wird von vielen Aktivitäten umgeben. Restaurants sind zu Fuß erreichbar, Mini oder regelmäßige Golf, Go-Karts, Batting Cage, Skaten usw. sind nur einige Autominuten entfernt. Kurze Fahrt zum historischen Newport Villen, Port Galiläa Fischmärkte, Providence Verkaufsläden, Aquarium, Casinos, Uhr-Hügel, Mystic Seaport ..


Es gibt alle 5 fünf Sterne Bewertungen nur in dieser Saison, "Dieses Haus war sogar noch besser als wir uns vorgestellt hatten. Wir liebten das Gefühl der Meeresbrise in der hellen und sonnigen Veranda mit Meerblick untersucht. Der Platz war sehr sauber und fühlte sich wie ein zu Hause und nicht als Miete. Das Haus wurde wunderschön mit original Leinwand Kunstwerken dekoriert und hatten eine tolle Heimkino-System im Wohnzimmer für die Nächte, die wir gemietet Filme. Wir liebte es so sehr nahe am Strand. Ich würde empfehlen, dieses schöne Haus für jeden. "

Great location

This house was walking distance to Scarborough beach, a beautiful beach with big waves. It is also close to Newport and it was easy to catch a boat trip to either Block Island in Gallilee or harbor tours in Newport. Quiet neighborhood and overall a good time

Close to the beach!

Overall are stay was very good. The house was very clean and spacious. The owner was very responsive and helpful when we contacted him. The only drawback was the quality of the mattresses. If they were replaced we would eagerly return.

Great Location

This is a great family vacation home. It is not setup for more than one adult couple as the the bunk bed with a dbl below is really for children and other bedroom has twin bed only. The master bedroom is large and has a comfortable king size bed and a wonderful deck. The ad had said there was AC. The AC units were in a shed and we had to install ourselves after a wk of trying to get into the locked shed. Also the rental was supposed to include internet, there was none, the owner arranged for me to go to the next town to pickup a modem. Also, the dryer did not work and we had to wait 1 wk before another one could be delievered. Although the house and location were very nice the experience was not and the owners did not offer any compensation for our inconvienence.

Loved the house! 1 bedroom down stairs very tiny though. The only thing that we found disturbing was the "Cleaning rule". There was a list of things to clean, the obvious were the bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms, anything that we had used. But, the windows, walls, the oven, taking out the refrigerator shelves? There was a cleaning fee and a deposit for damage fee which was supposedly returned. What irks all of us that vacationed there was that on the list it stated that the cleaning crew coming in at the end of the stay, was only there to inspect the cleaning of the cottage and do what hadn't been done. Really? A fee for a cleaning inspection? Also, it was "suggested" that we leave our shoes outside and not wear them in the cottage. There was to be no drinking or smoking anywhere in or near the house. We understand the smoking, but drinking? We were afraid to have wine. The only time we really used the kitchen was to make our coffee in the morning. The cottage was clean when we went in, but there were cobwebs, dust, and stains on the rugs. Which we didn't mind, but we were paranoid that we were going to be charged. It was a great location, great cottage, however, we were always paranoid that we were doing something wrong. We are 4 women over 50, not people having keg parties.

Great location

We were overall very happy with our stay. The location was ideal, with beautiful ocean views (and some nice flower gardens in nearby houses). House was clean and as described. We were a little taken aback by the extensive cleaning list but actually felt more at ease when we saw the place, which was clean and comfortable but was not spotless to the point that we felt stressed about having our kids there. Overall, very nice.

Great location, terrible mattress

Overall the property was nice. It was in a great location and it was pretty clean. I was not expecting the bedrooms to be on separate levels (primary upstairs, others downstairs), but we made it work. That said, the mattress in the primary bedroom was so bad that we considered leaving a day early. It truly felt like cardboard. It left me feeling surprised and almost disrespected that someone would expect their guests to sleep on it.

Narragansett Family Vacation

We have been coming to Narrgansett for several years. We just Love Scarborough Beach.. My goal This year was to be able to walk to the Beach. I fell in love with this cottage and it was fabulous!! The Deck off the Upper bedroom was great after the beach for snacks, and drinks,what a view !! The 3 season porch was fabulous for dining and what a nice view.. I loved the outdoor shower. Plenty of space and a great sea breeze.Lovely quiet neighborhood. My husband who is very particular loved it also. The bedrooms down stairs are small but Ok .Kitchen Great all that you need. Close to everything. Stop and Shop ,Tennis courts,Package Stores, Gorgeous Beach with all Covid-19 rules . Fabulous Family Vacation ❤️

Great house and perfect location!

This property has a great location. The neighborhood is peaceful and quite and you can walk to the beach. The house is clean and very comfortable. After a day out, we really enjoyed coming back to the house and enjoying the night sky on the upper deck. We also enjoyed riding bikes to Point Judith and Galilee.

Best Girls Week Trip Ever!

My 3 BFFs and I stayed at this property for a week away from our husbands and kids and boy was it amazing! The property is perfect- mimosas on the deck in the morning, afternoons at the beach, then out to dinner at many great local restaurants like Spain and Chair 5, before returning to open a bottle of wine in the sunroom and wind down and then repeating it all over again the next day! When we arrived everything was clean and meticulous and when we had a question for the owner they got right back to us. I can't wait to make this an annual trip with my ladies!

Wonderful Family Vacation!

My family of 5 had a wonderful stay at this property! It was in immaculate condition! The sunroom and outdoor shower were big hits with my kids! We walked to the beach daily and then came back and made dinner and relaxed. The views from the balcony are great! The owners were responsive and easy to work with. Can't wait to come back next year!

Incredible house and area

The house and area were incredible. The house was so clean, comfortable and relaxing. We loved the sun room with ocean views and coffee on the upstairs deck with 360 degree views of the area and ocean. At night we could hear the ocean waves, so relaxing. We already scheduled for next year.

Outstanding property, house and location!

We loved our stay. The house is wonderful. It was perfect for accommodating our family. Very nicely decorated, well kept up, charming and clean. You can tell when an owner uses the house themselves and cares unlike many rentals. It was very comfortable like a home away from home. From the front porch we could relax and watch everyone renting from further away lugging all their stuff to the beach. In the back sun room we could relax, talk, drink and eat with cool breezes and ocean views. The family room had ample seating, cable, wifi and a big screen TV. The upstairs deck was for laying out, drinking and talking with cool breezes and even more ocean views. We had lots of parking, a washer and dryer and an enclosed outside shower which I mostly liked to use. The beach was right there hardly a walk at all. It was nice since we could easily go back to the house for food and drinks or if we forgot something without dragging tons of stuff. If we wanted to we could also buy food and drink at the beach. Location, location, location, we could literally walk to breakfast, lunch and dinners everyday. Within 1-3 miles there are supermarkets, lots of shopping, Port Judith, ferry's, kayaking, clamming, golf etc. and within and hour or so we could be in Providence, Boston, wineries, casinos, Newport etc. and the list goes on and on. We give this and A+ and we'll be going back year after year! (almost don't want to tell anyone about it).

Amazing house and location!

I'm a student at URI who has been living here since September and it's great! I love coming home from a stressful day of classes and being able to enjoy the amazing ocean views from this house. The ocean facing deck on the second floor has great views of Scarborough Beach - perfect for catching a sunrise or sunset! Every room is very open and lets in a lot of natural light (there are blinds for when you don't want as much light). Everything is modern and updated but still has a very beachy feel and that's saying something since i'm here during the coldest months of the year! I would definitely recommend staying here!

Relaxing Beach Stay

My family stayed here for a week during our beach vacation to Narragansett / Scarborough. The house was clean and comfortable, and was a perfect size for 3 adults and 3 small children. The all seasons room was great for family dinners and enjoying the ocean breeze. The location is perfect, short walk to the beach. The owners were very accommodating and easily reached. Had a great time and hope to come back!

Beautiful and relaxing week!

What an adorable and comfortable cottage! My daughters and I spent a week in July enjoying the cool ocean breezes, great views on a very quiet street. The home is well-maintained and clean which is always a concern in staying anywhere else but your own home. There was enough room for everyone but my favorite was the master bedroom suite( I call it that because of how spacious it is with it's own bathroom and fantastic view from it's own deck!) Our favorite beach in Rhode Island is Scarborough Beach which is pretty much a 5 minute walk down the street. We couldn't have had it better!

Wonderful house short walk to beach

The house is very well-kept with a nice back porch dining area perfect for relaxing, eating and reading. The master bedroom upstairs has terrific floral art, and a deck. Our two teens also liked their rooms. Would happily stay again if we are ever near the area. Great seafood restaurants also

Amazingly perfect for our little family.

The house is close to the beach, within walking distance (no car needed, and my children didn't complain once about the walk). The house is perfect, and I actually don't think the other reviews gives it enough credit. There is a small room to the right for a single person, and bunk beds for my children that they adored. The master bedroom was ideal. Not only could you sit and have coffee out there in the morning but you could see the ocean while doing so. The other really great option is the sun porch. We had every meal out there. The breeze through the room was amazingly perfect. The outdoor shower was great for a final rinse before going in the house, and the clothes line helped with beach towels and bathing suits. We spent a good portion of our time at the beach but we did venture out, there is so much to do so close.

my husband and I loved our stay on greenbrier ave this summer the house was clean and comfy and a very quick walk to our favorite beach scarborough our 3 grandsons also got to have a great time at the ocean during some day trips they were able to make it was a much needed and thoroughly relaxing vacation for us the owners were accommodating and always just an email or phone call away for any questions

A Place To Make Memories

We have stayed here two years in a row and absolutely love this place! Last year we arrived with the hurricane in late August and even without power our first two days, we had no worries. The owners were so concerned and accomodating as we rode things out while the area recovered from the hurricane. This year we were so pleased not to have a hurricane to worry about. Instead we enjoyed a week of perfect beach and vacation weather. One of the greatest features of this cottage is the back screened porch with views of the ocean. We spent hours out there - early in the morning, mid-day to get out of the sun, and late into the evening. We ate every meal on the porch. Another wonderful feature is the deck outside the master bedroom. That was our other favorite spot, especially at night when we would sit there under the stars, in the light of the full moon. The beach is an easy walk, there are plenty of great restaurants in the area, and Galilee is just around the corner to buy fresh fish and lobster for dinner. We are avid bikers and found lots of adventurous rides to enjoy. The owners have done everything to keep this home comfortable, clean and equipped with everything you might need. We encourage you to plan your summer vacation early and stay in this delightful spot (just don't steal our week)!
