We spent time here as a family on our trip to Montecito.
The location of the property was awesome. A 2-3 minute walk to Coast village and the town of Montecito with plenty of shops and eateries.
The landscaping, exterior, and backyard of the property is stunning! We spent most of our time at the house in the backyard using the pool, spa, and outdoor TV with heaters.
The size and layout of the house worked for us, although the kitchen is a bit outdated and musty - and we didn't necessarily feel comfortable cooking a meal here. There were also ant traps left all over the house upon check-in - on floors and counters - which is fine if they are in use to catch bugs (this is rustic California!) but maybe throw out before guest arrival. It just was a bit off putting. There was also a VERY strong smell of cleaning supply which was a bit nauseating at times... we do love the use of cleaning supplies, however, the smell was overpowering and bought some additional scented sprays to mask the smell. In addition, given the price of the property, we felt the sheets needed an upgrade as they were paper thin.
Linda is a fabulous host and very communicative! We did get the chance to meet her in person and she showed us how to use the spa and pool work - quick and easy! Lovely and she did have recommendations in the area in her guest book - very helpful!
