If you prefer a quieter escape, Grasmere, 5 miles away, is famous for its literary history and picturesque walks, as well as the legendary Grasmere gingerbread – an absolute must-try treat. Step into the inviting lounge, where a warm gas fire and Smart TV create a lovely setting for relaxing after a day of exploring.
