Haus verfügt über 4 Schlafzimmer / 3 Badezimmer und bietet Platz für 8-10 mit voll ausgestatteter Küche, Waschmaschine / Trockner, Sat-TV, abgeschirmte Veranda mit Handtüchern und Bettwäsche zur Verfügung. Dieses Haus ist ideal zum Angeln, Jakobsmuscheln oder Bootfahren im Golf von Mexiko. Das Haus wurde kürzlich mit allen neuen Betten, Außendecks, Schwimmdock und Krähennest aktualisiert. Es gibt 3 Schlafzimmer / 2 Badezimmer im Obergeschoss und 1 Schlafzimmer / 1 Badezimmer im Erdgeschoss. Floating Dock kann zwei 16 '- 18' Boote oder ein großes (25 '- 30') aufnehmen. Das Haus ist auf Cedar Island (nicht Cedar Key) neben Keaton Beach zwischen Steinhatchee & Perry, Florida. Dieses Haus liegt an einem Kanal, der sich zum Golf von Mexiko hin öffnet, was minimale Zeit (5 Minuten) im Leerlauf bedeutet. Genießen Sie die Ruhe und die großartigen Angel- und Meeresgründe, die Big Bend zu bieten hat, sowie die atemberaubenden Sonnenaufgänge und Sonnenuntergänge. Scalloping fun!

This place is a great place to take a larger family. The scalloping was amazing and the fishing was really good too! The house was stocked with plenty of cooking utensils and the dock had enough space for two small boats. We had a great time!

Not up to standards

The carpet was very dirty. The master shower water was luke warm even though it ran for a long time. The oven dial was loose so you did not know what the cooking temp was the outside was extremely run down. It was not what I expected from VBRO.

Great spot!

Highly recommend, great house, very roomy, everything you need. Boat positioning was a little tricky, especially from the land side while trailering, but plenty doable with a little forethought. And they do tell you beforehand not to go back there with your boat on the trailer, however I had no choice, but was still able to get turned around.

Maintenance nightmare

House located in an awesome area and had great amenities. However, as we approached the house, we noticed the screens coming loose on porch and the back door that would not close. While trying to find a way to make the NW corner bedroom cool enough for someone to sleep in, we were able to change the filthy air filter with one we found in utility room. Also found some bulbs in utility room to replace some that were out. Bedroom remained too warm all week. Several blinds broken or inoperable. Stove and oven were filthy-set off smoke detector boiling water. Microwave was filthy. This would be a great place if maintenance and cleanliness had not been an issue. Overall very disappointed in the shape of this unit. We took pictures of what we described here, but there is no way to attach them to this review.

Amazing views and super convient waterway to the gulf!!

Sean was very easy to deal with and super helpful! I had my best friend planning his engagement on our scalloping trip the past weekend. I reached out to Sean for some advice on where to do it in Keaton because I have only stayed in Steinhatchee and further south. He was very helpful in suggesting Keaton beach park and was very accommodating. The whole trip went without a flaw and the house was more than enough room to accommodate 10 of us. Definitely looking forward to using his home again!! Thank you!

Just what we needed

Just the place to unwind with fishing and boating. Very quiet neighborhood. The dock and fish station were a welcomed convenience. VRBO listings have always been top notch with listings and professional service.

Needs some work

The home owner is very responsive and friendly. This home is cute, relaxing and roomy, we did enjoy our stay and I'd like to say it was comfortable, however it wasn't and we were quite uncomfortable all weekend. This home is being taken over by german roaches, mostly in the kitchen. I feel horrible giving a bad review but we were pretty upset to find out a couple renters before us notified the home owner of the roach problem and they haven't taken any actions to have a professional come out. All renters read the reviews before booking and I'd want another renter to post this type of information about a place I was looking into renting. We did contact the home owner and asked that he send out a professional exterminator due to it being Friday morning we knew it was possible. The homeowner sent over his neighbor to spray can bug spray. Something is better than nothing I guess.

Great time!

We arrived on a Tuesday afternoon with smooth instructions from owner on how to check-in. Owner was always available for any questions via email. Very roomy and open. Definitely great for the five of us....next time, we will add more family to the trip! Dockage was great; short run to open water. Keaton Beach is not Ritz Carlton Amelia, and we were not expecting that. Would visit this home again.

The fishing this yr was great, sometimes the fish don't cooperate but these year they did good. Would recommend this house for anyone who enjoys fishing relaxing it is peaceful

Great Stay

Scalloping trip in late July was great. The property was spacious and easy access to the Gulf. We were out in open water in 5 minutes. House is well equipped and clean. Plenty of great outdoor space to enjoy. We would come back again

Casual and spacious!!

We really enjoyed our getaway. The house is very casual and had plenty enough space for the 7 of us. The location is great. Right on the water. Awesome to have a 2nd full size fridge instead of the the usual 1. Really nice to have a completely private downstairs bedroom & bathroom that was separated from the main living area. Will definitely use again if we are in the area for scalloping!

Relaxing Oasis

We needed a new place to scallop and fish and found this wonderful home. It was a short idle out to the channel where we could get up on plane and reach our scalloping spot or fishing hole quickly giving us that extra time on the water. It was clean, easy to get to and great, friendly neighbors. We will definitely be coming back here again!

Our family has fished and scalloped in this area for years and we actually rented this house for a couple years before buying it. Our family enjoys the laid back setting and easy access to open water.
