Point House is an independent apartment located in the main street of the island of Ortigia, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2005 and included in the World Heritage List, it is only 50 meters from the Temple of Apollo.

Many of the island's attractions are a stone's throw from the house: a short walk through one of the typical alleys of Ortigia will take you to Piazza del Duomo, with its unique Cathedral built on the ruins of a Greek temple (5th century BC).
Less than 600 meters away, you will find one of Syracuse's landmarks: the "Fontana di Aretusa", a fresh water spring - populated by ducks and papyrus plants - whose origin is rooted in Greek mythology.

The Bellomo Museum, the typical and picturesque fish market in Via Trento and the "Castello Maniace", a fortress located at the end of the island, are within walking distance.
