Local Information
Tankerton is an area of Whitstable but with its own high street containing lovely cafes, restaurants, a couple of micropubs, and food shops. A short walk along the seafront takes you into the heart of Whitstable which also has a wealth of wonderful places to eat and drink, and lots of great independent shops. Plus of course the iconic fishing harbour and oyster fisheries. The town has a thriving art scene with lots of galleries showing the work of local artists, and a great live music scene.
