Overall we were very pleased with the property it was a nice clean apartment in the heart of Rome's Piazza Navona neighborhood. Our host met us at the apartment upon check in and showed us around the unit as well as gave us some great tips for getting around the city.
We're an adventurous family, so we were able to walk half an hour to the Colosseum, Vatican City, The Pantheon and just about every other neighborhood downtown. It's also a quick walk to Trastevere to hang out and dine at restaurants and shops in that cool and fun neighborhood.
A couple of things to note about downtown Rome, it can be very noisy at night (earplugs are great) and the apartment, even with newer windows, being in the heart of everything was a little loud during the Holiday week. This awesome old world apartment could use a few some updates, the kids beds were a little loose, and a bathroom light went out (not that big a deal), Alessandro came to tighten the beds, and the bathroom had a slight odor at times. Oh and on the plus side Alessandro bought a new tv for the apartment, when I asked if there was one to link to streaming services, which was incredible.
Overall 4.8 out of 5 and we would defintely stay in the apartment again, and would recommend as one of the best hosts in Rome.
