Spent two nights here as family of four. Owner met us and handed over keys and showed us around at convenient time for us. It is a spacious two bed apartment. Apartment was clean, however the bathroom is in desperate need of renovation (rust holes in bath , hole in tiles under bath and extractor fan did not work) although good water pressure. The bedrooms have a good amount of storage, the bed in the main room is just a futon base and very firm shallow mattress (which we didn’t like but own preference), kids also said the mattress on bunk beds were springy. The lounge area is large but there needs to be another sofa as there was not enough room for four of us to sit down without one sat on dining chair. The kitchen is dated but if it had the essentials it would be usable, it is missing kettle, wine glasses, cereal bowls, Cheese grater, chopping board, scissors, tea towels, dish washer tablets, sink plug or bowl to wash up, placemats. There is no WiFi. An old broken wardrobe is left on one of the balconies. No sign of any outdoor cooking grill. Short drive to laredo beach, nothing in walking distance. Lots of restaurants in Laredo but do not start serving evening food til 8pm. Apartment has no private parking, park in lay-bys outside, we managed to get parked each night. Highly recommend the 20 min drive to Castro Urdiales, beautiful place. Apartment would benefit with a information book, with recommendations of where to visit and eat and WiFi.
