Braeside began life as a coach house attached to one of Torquay's grand old villas. Some years ago it was converted into a fantastic apartment and now has the feel of a detached house as there are no neighbours above, below or directly around.
It is located in the Wellswood area of Torquay which is undoubtedly the most desirable residential district of the town. It is just a short walk from the area known by locals as Wellswood Village. Here guests will find a whole host of independent traders including patisserie, florist, post office, beauty salons, bistros and a pub. There is also a convenience store that is open seven days a week until late.
Torquay's cosmopolitan town & seafront is a five minute bus ride or drive away. Alternatively, it can easily be reached on foot within twenty minutes. Braeside make the perfect base from which to explore all that The English Riviera has to offer.
We are delighted to welcome well behaved dogs at the Braeside Apartment. We do ask that dogs are never left unattended in the property. Guests must accept full responsibility for any damage their pet causes.
Guests at the Braeside property are able to make use of the EV charging facilities at the nearby Muntham Holiday Apartments which is less about 50 yards away.
The Braeside apartment has a very convenient layout - providing plenty of space throughout the living and dining areas, making it ideally suited for family and friends to spend time together. Whether you are cooking or serving your meal, the property’s kitchen is well-equipped and easy to use. The bedrooms are hidden away from the main living areas, so you are able to enjoy a relaxing evening or lazy morning without being disturbed.
The cherry on the top of the cake of this wonderful property, is being able to enjoy a morning coffee or evening glass of wine in the pocket-sized romantic paved garden spot for two, with bistro table and chairs just outside the entrance to the house.
