Within the village, which lies on the banks of the River Nodwydd, you will find a 12th century church, accompanied by a range of shops, a Post Office, a takeaway and a pub. Close by is the 4.5 miles of sandy beach, which stretches from Llanddona beach and Red Wharf Bay. The medieval town of Beaumaris is also close, home to a 13th century moated castle, excellent shops, pubs, restaurants, bistros and museums.
