Location is close to town. The views were okay. Had to call the management because we didn’t get a checkin code, but interactions with them were good. The outdoor furniture was lacking and one bed very uncomfortable. Otherwise the house was fine. Not within the property’s control but there are dogs nearby that never stop barking.

We loved this house. It had everything we needed. It was well appointed and the view is terrific. It is a super quiet location but is still convenient to "town" (Grocery shopping etc Highly recommended. We'll come again. They had a "Highlands Hiker" guide on the premises and it was an awesome resource, someone very thoughtful left some good notes behind in it. I bought one in Cashiers for future trips.

Beautiful private spot close to town and hikes

My family of 5 (mom, dad, two young boys and our fur baby) came to stay for 5 nights. The cabin was easy to find and very clean when we arrived. The only issue we had was that there was one AC unit in the dining room for the whole house. Since it is summer, it was warm in the bedrooms. We used the fans provided to move air but be aware that it was still warm to sleep at night and not cool enough to open doors and windows. This is why we gave it a 4 star rating. Other than that, Felicia w Evolve was super helpful during our stay. The house was 4 mins to the town center and 7 mins to the grocery. We were able to do some fun hikes w our boys and dog. Also visited the beach at Lake Glenville and several waterfalls all with short drives. Enjoyed our stay and will be back to visit the area again!

The cottage is in a great location, easy to get to crossroads, lake glenville & sapphire. Love the decor & finishes. Great view from deck. Private setting. Kitchen was stocked with all you need plus some extras. Will stay there again.

Cozy cabin

The process of renting this was a breeze. There were no glitches in the check in/check out process. The cabin was not lighted on the outside very well when we arrived and was secluded, on an unpaved road so that was a little unnerving as we arrived after 10pm. But we got in fine and all was well. I would stay at this cabin again. Thanks for sharing! On a side note…the toilet in the bathroom on the left was leaking from underneath onto the floor. The tub in the other bathroom was draining slowly.

Weekend at mountains

This is a very nice and updated mountain house. Great deck and views. The home was clean. Close to cashiers town center. There were a few minor details that were unexpected. There’s only 1 external ac unit in the living room. Bedrooms would get uncomfortable warm. I’m sure the 1 unti was listed in the rental description but I usually don’t read the fine print. Owners had left fire wood for the fire pit which was very nice. However I hope they add fire starters for guests in the future. The wood had gotten wet from rain and I had difficulty starting a fire. There was no dishwasher liquid or dish sponges which made me wonder if dishes from previous guests got sufficient cleaning. These are only small items which I am including for thoroughness. We had a wonderful time. Would stay here again. With houses that are this nice and updated I’ve typically seen more attention to the smaller details.

Location and View!

Four nights in this cabin with my wife, her cousin and two boys (in their 40s) was a nice retreat from the heat. The location couldn’t have been better. It feels secluded with a great view of the mountains and we were just up the hill from downtown Cashiers. Fished in Caney Ford, hiked Whiteside Mountain, rambled around the beautiful park downtown, visited cool shops, cooked all of our evening meals in the cabin and enjoyed some bourbon after long active days. Loved the screened in room off the master bedroom. My boys were not fond of the bunk beds in the closet and opted for making due in the living room. Somewhat got used to the barking dogs at the bottom of the hill. However, we had a great time!

The BEST winter getaway

We had the absolute most wonderful time at this VRBO! Everything was incredibly clean upon arrival, the beds were luxurious and cozy, the back porch was so lovely to sit on in the evenings, and the kitchen had everything we needed (and more) for a few quick meals at the cabin. We loved sitting by the gas fireplace in the living room, and the furniture was comfortable, too! By far one of my favorite rentals!

New Years getaway

We had a great trip. The cabin is beautiful, well appointed and very private. It felt like home for 5 nights. We had fun in Highlands - tubing at highlands outpost, and the alpine coaster, a little shopping. Also we visited several waterfalls my favorites this trip were Dry Falls and Glen Falls which the kids hiked and enjoyed too. Went to Moss Knob Range. The cabin was a great location for us very central to all that we wanted to do. From the deck, the daytime view and the stargazing at night were exactly what I needed.

Great Stay

We had a wonderful time at this cabin. It was clean and everything worked good. The only issue we had was locating the light switch for the outdoor lights (we arrived at night and couldn't see them in the dark). We would recommend this place to everyone.

Sister's Trip

My sister and I had a "sister's trip" here. It was perfect!!! The house is so warm and cozy and beautifully decorated!! It is so close to town and we felt so safe! Loved the fireplace at night with beautiful views! We had the best time ever and will be back next year!!!!

The cabin is best known for its view of the mountains and the balcony. It is not supplied with the best of kitchen equipment. The fireplace did not work and it was quite cold. But the most annoying thing was the barking dogs continuously from afar

Great spot for the family!

This property was a wonderful spot for a getaway for our little family. The view is beautiful and the beds and furniture very comfortable! The screened in porch off the master was delightful. My only criticism is the AC, or lack there of. It was very hot outside and the AC only consisted of one unit in the dining area. There are fans in the rooms, but the AC definitely didn’t reach throughout the house and we were hot who trying to sleep at night. Opening the doors and windows helped but advertising that the house had AC wasn’t 100% transparent. Regardless, we had a great time!

Wonderful house!

We absolutely loved this house! It felt more like someone’s personal house than a rental. The house is well stock and very comfortable. Great location to town and lake glennville. Also great view of the mountains. We will definitely be back and stay longer next time!
