Great location!

The home is beautiful, enough room for all of us to spread out and yet spend quality time together. It was great to be able to walk to local restaurants, shops and the beaches! We would stay again.

Beautiful family vacation week.....

Our extended family had a wonderful time at Relaxing @ the Roses. The house was welcoming and tastefully decorated with on trend coastal decor. We enjoyed sunsets overlooking the marsh on the back deck and appreciated that ice cream was only a short walk away! Looking forward to visiting Surf City again soon.

Great house and location!

The house is great short 3 minute walk or beach access and close to all restaurants in surf city! I thought the house could have been cleaned a little more but just a minor issue. Tv didn’t work when we were there but we didn’t even try to figure out since we were always at the beach!

Beautiful views!

We loved this townhouse. The location was perfect for our young adult kids to walk everywhere they wanted. Beach access was just across the street and beaches were never overcrowded (even though we stayed the busiest week in summer). We watched fireworks our first night there from our back deck. The house was beautiful and perfect for our family. We had the perfect mix of beach, bikes, restaurants, walks. We'll definitely be back!

A beautiful place to vacation

Relaxin@the Roses was beyond our expectations. The pictures do not do it justice. It was beautifully decorated. It was super clean. It felt like a posh resort or even better. The views were great of the bay and the ocean. Just a quick walk to the beach. The kitchen was fully stocked and well thought out what a vacationer may need. It is a great location to walk everywhere in town. It was a great spot for teenage daughters to go grab some lunch or ice cream. It was the perfect location to everything. I would highly recommend Relaxin@ the Roses. We are from Pennsylvania and it was our first time to Surf City, North Carolina. We will definitely recommend this home and town. We will be back next year. The only negative was we had to leave this beautiful place and Topsail . Thank you for a fantastic vacation

Great property in the heart of Surf City

My family had a great experience here. The property is large, well-furnished, and has an unbeatable location. There's even an ocean view from the top deck! Furthermore, we were impressed with Ward Realty's communication. Their customer service is excellent, always someone to pick up the phone and lots of helpful email/text reminders before and during our trip. We only had two small issues: 1) This property has a strong musty/mildew smell coming from the bottom floor. This was not something we were aware of when completing this booking. Fortunately, the weather was nice enough that we were able to crack some windows and ventilate the property throughout our stay, but as an asthmatic and with a young child, this is something I would have appreciated knowing in advance. Had the weather been warmer or cooler, it would not have been possible to ventilate the property without sacrificing comfort. 2) While the property was neat and orderly, it was not entirely clean when we arrived. The bathrooms and kitchen surfaces were clean. However, the floors were very dirty, the coffee maker required multiple cleaning cycles with vinegar before it was useable, lots of things were dusty, and some comforters had obvious stains. As a result, we had to do some cleaning upon arrival that we were not expecting. Overall, we did really enjoy our stay and I will book with Ward Realty again. I suggest they address the mildew, though, and perform more thorough cleanings prior to guest arrival.

Amazing location, picturesque sunsets

Relaxin at the Roses was nothing short of a beautiful oasis! Let me preface before talking about how amazing this property is - there is no grill as stated in the description! We reached out to Ward Realty the day of arrival and received one email back - then no further communication nor remedy to the problem. Even when I brought it to Ward Realty’s attention of the grill listed in the property description, as we brought meals to grill - there was complete silence from them. This is a complete shame because the property is absolutely amazing! Our family enjoyed every moment of our week at the property and felt extremely comfortable. The location is great for walking to the beach and other close amenities - to include donuts and bagels right next door. We enjoyed every evening on the back deck to watch the beautiful sunsets over the sound. The home is well cared for and well decorated!

Lovely Views

Really enjoyed the nicely appointed property with lovely views of the sound, and even a bit of the ocean. However, property description reported a gas grill, which was missing. When I called the rental company to inquire, I was told I would receive a call back after confirming about the grill with the owner so I could grocery shop accordingly. I never received a returned call, but the grill was removed from the description. The outdoor trash bin was also missing, so another call was placed 2 days later to the rental company. Fortunately, the bin mysteriously appeared after we returned from the beach that day, so the responsiveness was appreciated. Overall, a nice, clean, comfortable property conveniently located very near the beach and many dining options.

Jeep Beach weekend

This property is lovely. It is an ideal location mid-Topsail. Very easy access back across the bridge. The home was no cute. Very tastefully decorated. The balconies were amazing and the sunset the best! We all had plenty of room to spread out and relax. I highly recommend. The only issue we had was the check-in process however it was remedied VERY quickly. I would really not call it a problem.

location

we really enjoyed relaxin @ the roses. the location was great, especially if you have tweens or teenagers. close to renting bikes or kayaks. short walk to the beach across the street, and within walking of restaurants, pier, etc. The place visibly looks just like the pictures online which was great. However, it was not as clean as we would have preferred and the master bath drain didnt work well. Otherwise we really enjoyed Surf City

Home away from home

We had a fantastic time on our vacation. I felt that the homeowner really wanted their guests to feel at home. So close to the beach, but reasonably priced. We will stay again given the chance.
